I think people want them to have beef for some weird reason, but there's a video of Matt talking really positive about Tom recently as well. I love it. If Tom does return to Blink-182 one day, it'd be awesome if Skiba stayed as well. I'm sure they could make it happen with ease. Switch it up on live songs between guitar and vocals. One can dream though.
They would sound a lot better with them both, matt a better live vocalist and less sloppy on guitar, but Tom plays riffs and improvises really well on the bridge parts where matt just keeps it unifirn to the recordings. That’s why Matt never announced that Alkaline Trio was breaking up. They just released another EP and they hit the ground running! Matt and Tom both do side projects that end up being in someways better than what they did because it’s different and they wanna grow as artists but still stay true to themselves! In the a perfect world matt and Tom do 2 EP’s or one full length album! Take Box Car Racer, Angels & Airwaves, thehell, Matt skiba & the sekerts, alk3 and blink-182’s sound and put that in a blender and in my eyes that would be a musical masterpiece.

Punk rockers and musicians frequently have way too many favorite bands because they never let the old ones go due to the direct influence/emulation tendencies. Having said that, at the age of 36 I could easily name 30 bands across different genres before getting to ones I don’t care that much about.
Me and my buddy joke about if Blink ever does a big tour. Whenever they do the older Tom songs. The best intro they could do is just have a UFO abruptly appear above the stage. And the bottom opens up. And Tom is lowered on stage from a beam of light for a surprise appearance. Make this happen. Take my money.
i guess my biggest mystery about Tom is I don't understand where all this sudden change came from when Blink was at it's highest populariy ever. i don't know where this humanitarian stuff he talks about came from. i can't tell if this happened randomly and spontaneously at some point when he was playing with Blink, or if this is something her grew up with because of a dream or some kind of event that happened and he held it in until he got to a point with Blink where he was so successful individually where he didn't need anyone to answer to anymore. because why would you ever keep yourself from playing with Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker.
Bro, I love tom and all but I am a firefighter Florida state certified and steam burns are far and few between. You seriously have to be in a FUCKED situation to get steamed burns. The only time you are at high risk for steam burns is when the nozzle is set to a fog pattern for immediate fire protection, normally when you are getting over run by the fire in which case you back out or get more hose lines.
