Same, unfortunately he has said that he doesn't really care for the way the TTT mods are now, that it's more of just a "random hidden role game" and as such isn't really what he wants from the game, and since they kinda have to switch things up for content sake he probably won't appear very much in TTT again possibly ever. You can always hope for a change of heart though.

16:17 either bullets deflected off of Duncan's gun or the aim cone got so wide that it shot some random shots at Rythian's huge hotbox.
In a frame with 16:09 you can see the bullet (trail) stray off the the left
I love that the top-tier play at 2:20 comes with a bonus bottom-tier play from Zylus
I blame Duncan. All he had to do was say he was the Detective.

The mystery clip, in case anyone doesn’t know is an annoying bug where an error in some models causes them to reflect bullets in random directions as if they were the hl2 steel plate surface.

so was the deal with the ryhtian death at 16:40 a result of ricochet or did Tom hack the game?
The tec-9 has insane recoil and spread. One of the bullets just went way off to the side and hit rythian. The bullet shoots and kills rythian at around 16:09, and you can see the hole the bullet makes on the corner of the wall.
@@greypz8030 ah that makes sense. I figured it had something to do with the recoil of the tec-9 but the slow-mo reply made it seem like the bullets had bounced off the ground and into rythian rather than straight from the gun
I'm pretty sure that it actually is ricochet. The gun does have ridiculous recoil but I don't think it's that crazy to kill from that angle. The addon pack that the TEC 9 comes from is M9K in which most of the guns have some ricochet capability, the TEC 9 is one of them. It's so rare to get a kill with ricochet in TTT though so that's why it seems so strange. In some older videos you can even see the ricochet effect when people fire their guns but I don't know which episodes. Rythian just happened to be on low HP and got killed from a few stray bullets

I don't think that's the case, this was back when they still had the original TTT weapon base which doesn't have ricochet or bullet penetration. I think the cause might be a TTT setting called "Dying shot" which was a buggy and experimental feature. I think it's Duncan's "Dying shot" that actually killed Rythian.
As a gmod developer (as in workshop addon) maker I can answer what happened, So the tech9 with that mod pack has a very wide spread and also has penetration depending on what type of structure you set the buildings too so because of this wide spread he shot through the wall and it hit rythian from the side (probably in the head three timea) and just by pure luck killed him due to the head hitbox on the model is almost as wide as the shoulders

As far as I know, Tom kills Duncan first. When Duncan dies, his gun was dropped. The spray hits Duncans gun, ricochet's and kills Rythian.
I thought that a video or 2 later in the analysis it was shown that the bullets ricocheted off of the bedframe in the back. Also I thought rythian died before duncan. But it was definitely just a lucky bullet ricochet that killed him.
Like many under utilized game mechanics such as shooting thru doors cause wood cant block bullets
@@theobserver294 Is that seriously a thing in GMod? I've never heard of that or bullet ricochet in the Source engine.
@@irregularassassin6380 base gmod all "normal" doors can be shot through and if they're metal they'll cause ricochets. source engine doesn't handle ricochets well but they do exist. in the clip it looks like rythian died to a ricochet off of duncan but must have been off of duncan's gun which would make sense. However thats just my knowledge which would be wrong i'm no gmod expert or anything lol

Wait, why did the Jihad still kill radders, even though it's a self-destruct explosion, the flopper should've stopped it from killing her
I don't think the Jihad counts as explosion damage. It's more like an automatic death trigger that then causes an AOE explosion around where you died. But I vaguely remember weird cases where the Jester has gotten a Jihad bomb because after the Jihad is used it can be picked up again (ik it's weird) and that didn't kill the Jester. All in all the answer is that GMod mechanics are very consistent and work correctly 100% of the time
@@iOnZ_ The Jester has immunity to most things, including death triggers, like when the jester falls off of a map and survives

What acutally happened in the #justiceforRythian clip?
Tom's Tec-9 bullets ricocheted off of Duncan's weapons and the bed frame I believe.
I think the conclusion was that Source engine physics caused some fuckery with the metal bed ricocheting a bullet into Rythian during the opening spray.
Rythian's ghosting in that "the senate" round really annoys me. Here's Tom doing great deception like he usually does and Rythian just tries to ruin it. Luckily the others are deaf so it's fine.
i have to wonder sometimes if it isnt a case of using mic audio even after muting in discord and not ghosting

"High tier plays" not even 5 mins in and I've seen zylus the innocent kill the detective and Lewis kill the jester.. I guess for the yogs it is high tier 😂 love these idiots

I understand why clips with Sjin aren’t included in these compilations, but some of my favorite TTT moments have him present. One of them is the one where Barry kills traitor Sjin with the headcrab launcher by having in fly through the window into the building he was hiding. You could make an entire compilation of Zylus’ maniacal laughter when he gets trolling or when something ridiculous happens.
the best will always be Ben spending 5 minutes trying to rez Zylus, just for it to finally work and he instantly falls on top of him and kills him again. Lewis and Tom just bursting out laughing is amazing.
@@ryanclarke8673 Another favorite of mine is when Duncan is a zombie and is about to kill Bouphe when Zoey the detective comes in out of nowhere and lasers him winning the game.
The best sjin clip ever is when they are on an FTL map, sjin gets handcuffed and just says "oh, you c*nt".
Also "Be what you what, be are you appreciate what you dad".
