Hi Mel, finally binged watched all your videos from day one.... brilliant and gained some great ideas and tips. Probably one of the best was how to charge our Transit key fob up on a tooth brush charger...saved us a fortune🙂👍. As for the drawers, we think it's a genius idea and to quote my wife Carol " the people who thought it was crap are R soles, who are probably just jealous as they didn't think of the idea" 😁👍. Nylon cutting boards ! Used for runners for your draws by cutting them into strips & glue one on draw & the other on the frame then put a screw into the frames 👍
Regarding your kitchen build,if it works for you it's good it may or may not be your perfect kitchen but it's still good and your draws work a heck of a lot better than some of the so called locking runners which seem not to work when you put your gear inside them not all of them but your draw design and workings are bloody good,Well done and keep up the good work

I was just about to buy the complete electrics from Nohma when I came across your video on the Bluetti. Subsequently borrowed your idea for the electrics in my Boxer conversion, just ordered the AC200L + D40 + expansion. Now I'm going to steal your kitchen draw design! :-) Love it! Great videos Mel.

I think anyone saying your kitchen unit is “crap” is being unnecessarily harsh. I think you have some good ideas but the implementation sometimes leaves room for improvement.

It's not true that you're stuck with the colour. We've had chalk paint for years now and you can paint almost any surface with it and it's very durable ❤
Hi Mel tip for you when your drill gets clogged up with ali drill into a bit of steel block that should help clean your drill bit and your right about the lube . Worked with aluminium for years its a right pain in the backside for cogging your drills.
I love that turquoise blue but its all down to personal choice. Mine is getting done in a shabby chic/rustic style when its finally rebuilt (looking at a 5 month build 😬) Hope it looks as good as yours 😊
whe you have your new van would you consider allowing Quirky campers to rent out your camper , you would get a regular income and obviously keep your van either fulltime or for a year to see how you get on with your larger van . im pretty sure quirky would love your van because its hand built and has log burner also they used to offer afull rental service wear you gt less but they take all the hassell and your partner could rent hers out in a much moor schedueld way say for a month if you both went to europe or australier . any way just an idea for you . kp up the great work ,
