It makes my heart happy, seeing a couple who works, plays, parents, *and* plans as a team. (The only exceptions over the years have maybe 3 or 4 times when Alex surprisingly got a bit grumpy-eyed or curt w/Melissa - probably just exhaustion on his part, and possibly no one but another woman might’ve even noticed, but hey, no one’s perfect. I'm betting a lot of the diamond rings are post-WWII engagement rings. I have no idea what he paid, but odds are those tangled chains will scrap out enough to cover both boxes and then some.
