    Whenever I hear about courts of heaven teaching I am reminded of this verse: "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." so why do we need to go through an entire ritual when Jesus gave us full access?

      Exactly. Jesus said "it is finished". Anything else is a mockery of the finished works at the cross. We do not live under the law of Moses. We live under the Grace of the Gospel through Jesus.

    The Lord led me to say outloud the guilty things I have done,,as well as the witchcraft my family generations have done and to divorce it all in the the name of Jusus Christ, and to say outloud that its all wiped away by the blood and power of Jesus Christ, and then I thanked Jesus Christ that I am now made free through His atonement and am made clean. This made a huge difference in my walk with Jesus Christ, He began to show me little by little what I needed to repent from in my personal life. Every time I confessed that I had a problem, God healed me. It is amazing, and freeing from what I once wasnt aware of.

    In 2020, the Lord commanded me to do a 40 day fast. God had never done that before. I believe it was the first day of that fast or thereabout that the Lord gave me a list of things that I needed to repent of because they were working against me in the courts of heaven, some I did many years ago. I contacted a few people on that list to make peace for I had done them wrong by God's standards, unbeknownst to me! The Lord did this so my prayers did not get hindered I believe. I personally had had in passing of something mentioned about the courts of heaven but I did not really know anything about it.
    Secondly, In 2021, the Lord gave me three consecutive dreams where I heard the Lord God answering three accusations against me in the courts of heaven, pronouncing judgment in my case. He gave me the interpretation immediately after the third dream. I am not much of a dreamer at all. And I don't personally know anything about the courts of heaven.
    Just now I saw a CZcams video about it and before clicking on it, I did a search and found your video. I don't know if the teachings out here regarding them is right or wrong as I 've yet to watch any. But It seems to me that you are wrong. Let me explain.
    There are things God reveals to people. For example, around 2010 or thereabout, during private worship, the Lord said to me, "Call unto Me and I will show you great and mighty things you do not know." Jeremiah 33:3. God can and does allow people who seek Him with all their heart to see deep mysteries in the spirit realm regarding heaven, hell, etc.
    I am not gullible to come into agreement with every teaching I hear but it seems to me that people who never get revelations from God dismiss all things from the Lord. Before making a video like this, man of God, it may be a good idea to fast and pray enquiring of the Lord if something is true and asking Him to show you the biblical basis for it. Rushing to call something a fad can easily constitute teaching against the Holy Spirit. You do realize that teachers will be judged more strictly per James 3:1 right? Just saying...
    P.S. The Lord revealed to me that the #1 reason Christians are dying and going to hell, is PRESUMPTION!!! (yes most Christians - Matthew 7:13-14 - only a few find the narrow gate; Matthew 7:21-23 - "wrong & confident" men and women of God; & Matthew 25:1-13 - the foolish virgins who did not yield to the promptings of the Holy Spirit moment by moment to the very end, Revelation chapters 2 & 3 - Christians who fail to heed the warnings here and who fail to endure to the end). So do not be presumptuous about anything, especially what you teach about.
    King David recognized this peril and cried out, "Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me: Then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression." Psalm 19:13 If you only teach from the New Testament like most pastors, (I don't know if you do), you may need to pray and fast to discern this message.
    Before you dismiss my Bible quotes about the old vs new covenant, consider this New Testament quote that we use to rightly divide the Word of God ; 2 Timothy 3 :16 - 17 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." God bless you.

      People don't understand what they don't study. God's courts of heaven system, HIS judicial system is prevalent throughout Scripture, it's just not called the "The Courts of Heaven". Therefore people don't recognize it as such. I highly respect the people attempting to help the people understand this, but instead the people just try to kill them off like they did the prophets of old. Nothing new under the sun.
      This gentleman is doing the same thing, trying to shoot down a Biblical concept that apparently he does not understand.

      Do you think that these people who are able to go there are obedient. As I native the people who wrote books, DVD about this subject and make money, do you see their hearts? how then they are able to get there, if their motives is to make money? And sell DVD and books about this, do you see this? I try to not judge, but I feel unease, why people sell revelation if it's from God. If there is a greed and hunger for money and to sell DVDs and books about sorts of heaven,. If it's so, arent these people more obedient with God, less greedy, money hungry and freely giving, not taking, please think about it, let me know.

    I don't often approach the court of heaven, but when I do, it's usually when I'm under fierce attack. Things get revealed, and I can break curses or deal with issues I never knew was a problem. And everytime God delivered me. Another thing, every time I approach the court's prayers get answered within 24 hours. So for me, it did bring me closer to God. In essence, there's a place and a time for different types of prayers.

      But Pastor John, I've watched in CZcams about a woman who was taken to a place somewhere in Heaven. She and our Lord Jesus were walking until they got to a place in front of a building. They went inside. It was a Court of Heaven. Satan was there and was accusing her of something. And then our Lord Jesus whispered to her, "PLEAD MY BLOOD". And she did. And Almighty God gave the Verdict or the Jury. I can't remember exactly the details. But, she was declared not guilty. Then, on Earth, I think all her unanswered prayers started manifesting. So really there is something to that "Court of Heaven" thing. After all, there's nothing to lose if we go up in the Court of Heaven. There are other testimonies too about the Court of Heaven where people managed to receive answers to their prayers which they were waiting on for quite sometime. At the moment, I don't see any reason, or any way, how the enemies can use it to deceive people. In fact, quite a number of people have already benefited from it. I think Almighty God has not really finished writing the Bible yet. He's still giving us knowledge and information to equip us against all manners of hindrances the enemies will create in our walk with our Lord Jesus.

      It cracks me up when people say "it doesn't sit well with me" as if they are some spiritual giant or something. It's usually people who have never studied it. Dear brothers and sisters, this concept is throughout all of Scripture, it's just not labeled "the courts of heaven". Heaven is set up as a Judicial System. God the Father is the Great Judge. Jesus came to exact Justice on earth. Justice will be finalised at the end of days. Simple as that. Heaven and earth is set up by God The Most High as a judicial system, most people do not operate in that judicial system properly. All the teaching on the Courts of Heaven does is explain how it works. If it doesn't sit right with you or you don't understand it, study it! We're always supposed to study the Word as none of us knows everything nor do we understand everything about God. This is just more to study to help us along our walk. Don't twist it into something it's not people.
      When people sin, violating God's law, they suffer consequences. Why is that? Because God's system is a judicial system with rules. When we violate that system we suffer. Simple as that.

    Thanks, I actively practice courts of heaven prayers. I appreciate this video but I don't really agree. The books by Robert Henderson do make a lot of biblical sense- the heart of the courts of heaven in my opinion is essentially accepting your guilt, shame, any charge against you and plead the blood of Jesus as your defense that's biblical. It can walk people through deliverance faster than just praying a traditional way as one example

      It doesn't matter what your opinion is. What matters is what the Word of God says. That's what we need to stay focused on.
      Accepting one's own guilt and shame, etc., is called acknowledgement of sin and then you need to confess them and repent and submit to Jesus Christ as Lord of your life. No need to go through any courts for that.

    Yes but sometimes a child CAN be born with the weakness in them their parent had...you get a grandparent who was an alchoholic..you then have his child becoming an alchoholic .then you have the grandchild becoming an alchoholic or drug addict....so aren't weaknesses past down through the parents and even when we get born again we sometimes have to be delivered from demons which have been past down to us through soul ties with parents ? What about that ?

If I grew up in a house where alchohol was celebrated it is liked that I will enjoy it too and possibily become addicted...but it is not a curse, I still have the choice not to drink...it is my responsability not my parents fault.

    You mention not being a formula based Christian. I do agree that most Christian's have been doing that for centuries, we go to church, which is, a building we gather in, when the people are supposed to be called the church. We listen to three songs, who decided it has to be three? We listen to all the announcements for five to ten minutes about all the upcoming events. We listen to the perfectly timed sermon, so we are out of the building before the next service begins. We listen to milked down, topical, hand picked because we don't want to offend, any new believers! All of the above that I have mentioned, I don't find anywhere in scripture!

    Courts is mentioned over 90 times in scripture. Also Daniel 7 9-10. As I looked,
    “thrones were set in place,
    and the Ancient of Days took his seat.
    His clothing was as white as snow;
    the hair of his head was white like wool.
    His throne was flaming with fire,
    and its wheels were all ablaze.
    10 A river of fire was flowing,
    coming out from before him.
    Thousands upon thousands attended him;
    ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him.
    The court was seated,
    and the books were opened.
    People let Holy Spirit teach you not man. So many are deceived and being robbed of Gods glories because of false teachings. The more you read your bible the more the Holy Spirit will reveal. It is very much a biblical teaching

    • @kimmilberg7867
      @kimmilberg7867 Před 3 lety +2

      Hi Shelley, I hope I can answer your question thru the direction of the Holy Spirit! As far as Dt. 28, I refer you to Galatians 3 and especially verse 29. ‘And if you are Christs , then you are Abrahams seed, and heirs according to the promise.’ Meaning that if we belong to Christ, if we have truly been born again and had God do a changing, life-giving work in our heart, then we also are Abrahams seed. Since we who are born again are Abrahams seed, we are also heirs according to the promise that God gave to Abraham, and that promise is that we have what was spoken about in Dt 28. Dt 28 begins like this ‘Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His Commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.’ During that time, God said that if you fail to obey even one of His commandments it is if you broke them all. But He also said later in the OT that He would give us a new heart and write His commandments on our heart. The New Covenant is a new agreement between us and God, where we go to Him for salvation via praying and asking Him and giving our entire lives to Him. Jesus did not wipe everything clean, but He fulfilled the law(Romans 8:4, Galatians 13:8). Last, the Lord is not angry at you!!! He adores you, He loves you, He desires to be close to you and you to be close to Him. It is the enemy who comes to kill, steal, and destroy, which includes trying to make you think that God is angry with you which would, he knows, destroy your relationship with God. The Mormon church has some very good things about it, but they dont believe that Jesus is the Messiah, they believe, if I remember correctly, that Jesus was a prophet. But the Bible tells us over and over again that Jesus is God in the flesh, come down from Heaven to pay the price for our sins, and give us new life in Him. If you are experiencing more of the bad stuff from Dt. 28, could it be that you have not yet been born again? Have you ever given your life completely to God and allowed Him to change your heart and your life? Being born again is entering into a Covenant agreement with God, through the shed blood of Jesus. An agreement involves two parties, and has instructions for both sides. God desires that we pursue Jesus, to know about Him, to know HIM, and to learn to love Him and to learn to trust Him, which is having faith in Him. In turn, when we pray and give Him our life, He gives us a new heart, and , like it says in 2Corinthians 5:17, ‘Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away and behold, all things have become new.’! If you’re not sure what to pray, an example would be: Father God, I know that I have sinned because I have been born into sin and because I, in the past, have chosen to go my own way in life. I repent and ask You now Lord to forgive me and to cleanse and heal me. Father I desire to come into Covenant with You. I ask that you give me a new heart , I ask You to write Your words on my heart, and I desire to have all things become new. Put a new heart within me, Lord, give me Your heart that is cleansed and faithful to You. Thank You, Lord for creating in me a clean heart and giving me a steadfast spirit to love and worship You alone. Thank You for becoming my Rock and strong Tower. . . . After that you can continue to pray as you feel led but mostly just thank and praise Him for saving you!!!! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me here or at Kim Milberg on Facebook!! God’s richest blessings to you and just please know that He is NOT angry with you!!

    With love, I think half of the stuff you've said are half and half. I have experienced some of the stuff Peter Wagner talked about here in Africa...city strongholds/strongmen, seen them fall in visions after weeks/months of travail, God even revealed an ancient slave trade issue that was a cause of what was going on in our family, repercussions of bloodlines etc
    So I think there should be a balance about courts of heaven but it does exist...not sure if what people share out there is right as you are right there is not much in scripture to make it a doctrine and sometimes people make a doctrine out of a personal encounter but the notion that the things in our bloodline don't affect us and it's our own sin is incorrect.
    Maybe live in Africa a bit and you'll quickly find out that the spirit world is more real than the nice romanticised clean version out in the west that has been put out there. I have seen too many visions, bondages broken, strongmen fall, lives in delay, embargoes etc to believe some of the stuff here. I say there is a need for balance on the courts of heaven but some of the stuff you have dispelled may only apply to you. Out here in Africa, this stuff is real.

      Hi - I agree, and the line is crossed according to what Paul wrote Timothy, when the form takes precedence over the power - the form of godliness while denying the power thereof. Form and appearance over substance. But I have observed many charismatic churches, ones that used to think of themselves as 'cutting edge', are trapped in that appearance, show, performance culture, over just praying, laying hands on people, spending time to actually help them - - that is where you see the power of God at work. psalms 105 - 9,10 the abraham covenant was a covenant with abraham , oath to isaac , a law or decree to jacob , do you think it might have something to do with wrestling with a angel , he saw accending and decending from heaven on a ladder that reached to heaven to the lord god of abraham . can we wrestle in the spirit and reach heaven .i think paul did.

    • @cre8509
      @cre8509 Před 3 lety +1

      Carey, we don’t wrestle to reach heaven. We go through Jesus, who is The Way. Here is an excerpt from an article I found that addresses this: “In the ESV translation of Gen. 28:12-13 we read, “And behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. And behold, the LORD stood above it…” It turns out that the first part of verse 13 can also be rendered “the LORD stood upon it.” In fact, this is the way the passage was translated in the Greek version of the Old Testament (known as the Septuagint). So if this option is correct, then Yahweh himself would be the one who bridges the gulf between heaven and earth, and the angels of God would then be ascending and descending on him. This seems like a good fit, since this is precisely what Jesus seems to be saying in John 1:51 when he says “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”
      Now, fast-forward to the time of King David. In 1 Chr. 21:14-20 we discover another one of these scenes featuring the mysterious figure known as the angel of the Lord (literally, “the messenger of Yahweh”). In this account, David sees “the angel of the LORD standing between earth and heaven, and in his hand a drawn sword stretched out over Jerusalem.” Without going into too much detail about all that’s happening in this passage, it is enough for us to point out that the place in which this angel stood ended up becoming the site of the Jerusalem temple. So here we find a number of parallels to Jacob’s famous vision, since in both cases we encounter a bridge between heaven and earth which causes the location to be identified as “the house of God” (Gen. 28:17). In the first vision, the gulf was bridged by Yahweh standing upon a ladder, and in the second vision, the gulf was bridged by the angel of Yahweh.
      So after thinking about all this Old Testament background, I believe that in John 1:51, Jesus is not necessarily pointing to something that Nathaniel will see with his eyes sometime in the near future, but instead is pointing him back to these crucially significant moments throughout Israel’s history, to the end that he would perceive Jesus’ true identity and mission. In fact, in the very next chapter Jesus will claim to be the ultimate temple (Jn. 2:19-22); in chapter 4 he’ll be presented as one greater than Jacob (Jn. 4:12) who renders the Jerusalem temple obsolete (Jn. 4:21-24); in chapter 10 he’ll describe himself as the door through which the sheep enter and find life (Jn. 10:7-9); and in chapter 14 he’ll claim to be “the way, and the truth, and the life,” adding that “no one comes to the Father except through me” (Jn. 14:6). In other words, Jesus is the ultimate “house of God” and “gate of heaven” hinted at in type and shadow, all the way back in Gen. 28:17” (from whitehorseinn.org/resource-library/blog-posts/the-meaning-behind-angels-ascending-descending-on-the-son-of-man/

    This is incredible! I was so grieved in my spirit today. Why? Because I had been praying with a woman over the past week. It turned quickly into her trying to convince me that the Apostolic Movement and a "vision" a woman had in that group meant that 2 of her friends living on social security were supposed to pay to have a woman that is homeless taken care of by them financially! I was aghast totally against it because this same woman admitted she had caught the homeless woman in a con and lies. Next thing I know she starts talking about the "Courts of Heaven". I had never heard this phrase before and I was so grieved in my spirit because I told her I wanted nothing to do with someone that she knew had deliberately conned her out of her social security money caught in lies. She kept saying this other woman had a vision and saying the homeless woman had agreed to a "Courts of Heaven". I had no idea what in the world she was talking about. I just told her I wanted nothing to do with it and held firm to my belief that this woman had already been caught in lies, deception and conning people out of their money. So I wanted no part in it. Still grieved I asked God, "Please tell me what in the world she is talking about, what in the world is the courts of heaven?" That woman you were dealing with apparently does not have very good credibility. I would not base anything,, like the concept of the Courts of Heaven, on someone like her. From what you said, she does not seem like a credible source on the subject of the Courts of Heaven or any subject for that matter.
      The Courts of Heaven is a Biblical concept. People just do not recognize it in scripture for what it is Do you know who King Jehoshaphat is in the Old Testament? He was a righteous King. Many enemy armies were coming up against Jerusalem. When he prayed and fasted, he cried out to God as the great judge of Heaven on what to do. When God told him what to do, that's exactly what they did and they got their victory. That is a good example of going into the Courts of Heaven to pray. It's as simple as that. People make it out to be some big mysterious new concept. It's not a new concept. God The Most High is the great Judge of Heaven. His entire realm is set up on a justice system. Jesus came to give justice to the earth. The end of days is all about exacting justice for God's people. Justice is always rendered in a court system. Simple as that. People are getting twisted out of shape on this.
      The problem is people just do not recognize it when they read it in the Word. When someone points it out to them, attempting to explain it, it is deemed heresy. It is not. The gentlemen doing this video, while attempting to refute the courts of Heaven judicial system, actually gives many examples of the Heavenly judicial system. He doesn't realize every example he quoted is a demonstration of the Heavenly court system. It shows he is not really cognizant of what it is, therefore he should not be doing such videos. The Bible says to speak on a subject that one is not versed in is foolishness:
      “He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.”

      @@JS-tr7oo I do need to add a comment to my previous comment. Most of the teaching on the Supreme Court of Heaven, the Heavenly courts is all biblical, focusing on how much of our prayer is done in a Heavenly judicial system. Most of the teaching rightly teaches what it is that blocks prayers being answered. Stumbling blocks, blinded minds, people's own sins block their prayers & the prayers of those they're praying for. Much of the teaching focuses on how to get rid of these blocks. Keep in mind, the Bible tells us satan, the enemy accuses the brotheren day and night. He uses whatever he can against us, such as our own sins that have not been repented of. It would be ill-advised for someone in the earthly judicial system to go into court without being prepared, without having good counsel, having the evidence, obstacles dealt with and to be sure that nothing is being used against us that could surprise us in court.
      Those attempting to disparage such teaching on the heavenly judicial court system, are speaking out of ignorance. If they studied it, they would know it is quite valid.
      See my original comment again. I added more to it that is important.

    We are instructed by the Word to confess and repent for iniquity. As you are all aware, iniquity is the curses and behaviours that we are born with that came from our parents and grandparents sins. Demons are involved. I have repented for my greatgrandparents and grandparents and asked our Father and Savior to remove the results of those sins. For instance, my great grandfathers made moonshine and sold it. There is so much alcoholism in my immediate family, cousins, aunts and uncles I have to believe this is a curse resulting from my grandparents sins.

      He dewick - you're actually quite confused and mixing things up as a result.
      We are told throughout the Bible to confess OUR sins. Even the Lord's Prayer is about forgiving us our sins and forgiving those who sin against us. No where does the Lord command us to confess or repent for sins or iniquity of others.
      God made it clear in Ezekiel 18 that He does not hold accountable the sins of the father to the son, nor the sins of the son to the father, and so on - He stated that because of beliefs and misunderstandings that the sins of a generation or more past are played out on a person. He corrected that in Ezekiel 18.
      What you mix in is demonic activity through multiple generations, which is of course a real thing. But that doesn't require us to repent, rather to cast demons out which is what Jesus commanded us to do.
      Don't you find it odd that to those who believe in this mixed bag you stated above, there is no scripture to support it? That there is no teaching in the whole of the NT telling us to handle generational demons by repenting for grandma's sin?
      For instance, look at Acts 19 and the deep occult practices of hundreds of people - so much and such deep involvement, that when they came to the Lord they burned their occult books. So deep and so much that when they stopped their occult activities it affected the economy of the whole city!
      Yet Paul wrote to the Ephesians nothing about dealing with demonic influences from their or their parents' past! He taught them personal responsibility, being aware and living for Christ in them...and on it goes.
      So yes, generational demons are real. But no, we are not to repent for some dead relative's sins as if that will loose a demon's grip on the family - simply obeying Jesus and casting them out, then living rightly to keep the door shut, is required.
      Blessings - John

      @@CWOWI I am not referring to repenting to get demons out of a family. I am referring to removing demons from ourselves because of past behaviours from our relatives. There is a reason why our Father told His people not to touch a dead body. Demons can go out of a dead body into someone else. I know from personal experience what alcohol can do in families. My sister died from alcoholism. As she was dying, she told me the demons were coming to take her. Our Father came on me in power after I had gone home, and I battled for her for an hour. It was real, it was difficult, and it was an actual battle. As I was battling demons five hours away, my brother was watching my sister being set free. When Jesus was finished, and I was released, my sister opened her eyes and gave a beautiful smile to everyone in the hospital room. She closed them again, and went home. No one knows everything, including yourself. To call me confused is not correct. I know what our Father has shown me. I am sure you have never heard of such a thing. There are many things our Father is revealing in these last days, as you know. I hope you will go back to Him and seek Him more about this. With all due respect, there is a reason people can not get free from these curses in families, and it's because there are those like yourself who do not have the full revelation of demonic authority in families.

      @@CWOWI I am aware of the scriptures you quoted. There is more to the story, because Leviticus 26 speaks about the iniquity of the father's. Specifically, verse 40 says "If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary to Me, and that I have also walked contrary into them and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity: then will I remember My covenant with Jacob, and also My covenant with Isaac, and also My covenant with Abraham will I remember;and I will remember the land." Nehemiah 9:2 and Jeremiah 3:25 also refer to repenting of the father's iniquity. Obviously, our Father has an issue with family sin. He may not hold the children responsible, and still forgive them their sin, but here we see that He requires us to acknowledge our ancestors sins. You can believe the way you choose, but there are many people suffering because of the sins of their ancestors. My husband has scoliosis. His mother has it. His sister has it. Alcoholism is rampant in the entire family line. Simple repentance prayers do not deliver people, and you see it continuously throughout the body of Christ. You must go back to the root of the sin, for the consequences of sin are carried out in the children through their physical bodies, generation after generation.

      @@dewick134 One does not need to have the full revelation of demonic authority in families in order to get free from family curses. One only needs the Blood of Jesus and faith in Him and humility and love. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Besides, it's not possible to have the "full revelation" of demonic authority in families. We only know things in part while we're here on earth in these earthly bodies. Also, we're to focus on the authority of Jesus Christ, not on demonic authority. We might not know how to pray as we should, but the Holy Spirit intercedes for us, so we don't actually need to know "everything" about demonic authority. We just need to know the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ and the power of the Word of God!
      There is the sentence, "As you are all aware, iniquity is the curses and behaviours that we are born with that came from our parents and grandparents sins." We are not all aware of that, so that part of the sentence is not true. The rest of the sentence is also not correct. Iniquity is not the curses and behaviours that we are born with that came from our parents' and grandparents' sins. Iniquity involves our own (wicked, sinful, ungodly) behavior, not anyone else's. Iniquity is not a curse. Iniquity is not a behavior that we were born with. Iniquity is what we do in real time, today, whether we are copying our ancestors or not.
      By the way, a curse without cause does not come (Proverbs 26:2), and Jesus became a curse for us when He hung on the tree (Galatians 3:13).

      Jeremiah 31:29-34 (ESV)
      In those days they shall no longer say: “‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.’ 30 But everyone shall die for his own iniquity. Each man who eats sour grapes, his teeth shall be set on edge. “Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the LORD. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”
