Let's be fair, the normie ship leaves without you the moment you install VRchat anyway.
I kind of forget how many non-furries there are in VRChat, staying out of public worlds is the norm for me and I'm not into the clubing scene. I barely ever see anyone not in a furry avatar so it is a bit of an oddity when it happens. And you never know if they will be a 'hater', so it can be a little offputting when someone joins a world in a human avatar when everyone else is a fluffy animal. Still, I've had almost always very positive interactions with our VR meatsona having friends, so each to their own ;)
Yeah it’s crazy to think that there’s people who aren’t furries in vrchat, like what do they even do on the game?
Edit: this is a genuine question, not an insult btw
@SkullpunkArt What do you think you do as a furry on vrchat that would be different from anyone who isn't?
@@ObliviousCrow well now that I’m listing it out I guess some of these could be at least semi-normie activities, but here’s the list anyway
1. Headpats
2. petting
3. nose boops
4. tail wagging
5. Wearing furry avatars
6. Cuddling
7. Hypno
Thankfully it’s becoming more and more common to be a furry in vrchat, and I think people are starting to mature and realize that furries are normal people.
I'm not sure most of those can be called activities :P Not wanting to speak for other people here, but I know Headpats isn't just a furry thing. And cuddling, petting are not exclusive. Even tail wags... do wolf boys have tails? I forget :D
Normie? Pretty standard.
Meatsona? Odd, but fair I guess.
Skinwalker?!?! That ain't the same thing at all, those entities will un-alive you no matter who you are 😰
Think you mean NON-Furries. None is 0.
Also, this is very true in every social circle.
Blah! Thanks for pointing that out. I should have had another person check it for me.
Unless they were referring to nun-furries. Which, I gotta say, if anyone can find a Nun-furry, that’d be a neat discovery.
you have got a point about the rexioums lol, they are super bloody common
As someone who wears a variety of furry and human avatars (and even object or hand puppet avatars), this is what I have noticed
They are both as strange as one another and both as original/unoriginal as one another
I have noticed that furries are more affectionate and want to headpat and give your ears rubs
Especially if your avi is smol and cute, they want to say hi in an affectionate way
I have noticed also slightly more awkward people who wear furry avatars
And more slightly more toxic/rude/unhinged people who are wear human avatars
0:19 meat sonas had me laughing so hard 💀💀💀
Can we all just be nice to each other? I have friends of all shapes, in a vr world you can be anything you want! So don't pick jerk 😂
Calling non-furries skin walkers is too funny, ill be taking that one for my own use.
Okay, that was funny. And why the hell they said those "normies" look the same? Can't they see 'em details? They are totally different to me~♪
Anyway, it was great. Thank ya!

Nonfurs: Joke about furries being Skinwalkers (in the mythological sense)
Furries: Joke about nonfurs being Skinwalkers (in the biological sense)
This exactly points out that discrimination is rife, even in the fandom. I just call them people, this nonsense about furs, and non-furs, we're all just people, doing what is enjoyable for us. That skin walkers comment, is straight up speciest. Sadly every fandom has it's prejudiced people, we furries are no exception, it's sad but true. So what if someone is a non-fur, as long as they're not being douchebags, or hating on us furs, leave them alone, and let them have their fun. Thanks for pointing this out VOX, people of all walks of life needed to see this.
As a furry myself, I don't understand furries sometimes
In vrchat there are people i dont care what type of people there just people until i get given a reason to think otherwise i will treat everyone the same
That just made me think of the clones in star wars. All the same just different color patern on the armor and different hair cut.
"meatsonas" 😂😂😂😂
As a wise man once said, ‘(they’re savages, savages) drive them from our shores! They’re not like you and me, which means they must be evil, we must sound the drums of war! (Savages, savages) dirty freaking Devils, now we sound the drums of war….’ - Governor John Ratcliffe, and homies.
And that's why.... I'd use evolved rex @_@
Different, similar yet nice
@@verdydeer6087 to oversimplify: A group of animals stemming from the same family/genus, a rex is a rex, just like how a red fox is still a fox, or a polar bear is still a bear :P
Good point. This was great!
Omg!!! Exactly hahahahahahahahahahahah 8 times of 10 when i hear friends or randoms saying things like that they end up been Rex's hahah that is funny XD
the difference here is 90% of male human avatars are just... cringe e-boys, always got the edgy clothing and tattoos, terrible mannors, toxic, rude. i dont know if its just me but i swear thats all they are, furries on the other hand yes the same avatar base but its actually different coloring, scheming, sometimes clothing, sometimes features. its the same bowl just furry side is more visually unique and more friendly and affectionate.
Careful saying skinwalker you might actually summon one
There are those furrys that have wendigo avatars
This one is amazing. 10/10
That's a lot of Eboys I haven't seen that many except at clubs.
People on VRChat calling anyone normie is the textbook definition of the pan calling the kettle purple.
And this is why I choose to be dumb memes/ avis that can be tossed in either
kinda understand where he's coming from yes it's the same model but so are most furrys as well
He's got a point lol
Furries and normies will someday get along in peace and harmony and no more fighting and no more hating
There are 6 sticks (rexouiums)in that area
I'm not going to "other" non-furs, because that would be really hypocritical as a furry, but the "all look the same" does have a basis of truth since most anime avatars use the same 2-3 bases with the same cybergoth aesthetic (or at least used to, idk if that's changed in the past year or so). Even the furs in your example have a much wider array of aesthetics on display. Even though they use the same base you wouldn't say the starbucks strawberry latte sona looks at all alike to the red panda, for instance. It's also not really fair to say all furries use the same base, there are quite a number of popular bases that are widely used like nanachis, nardos, protogens, various ghostly avatars, avalis, wickerbeasts, hyenids, etc. Hell, even you use the old Rikkor base
As a non furry who plays vrchat I can confirm
I mean technically a lot of people in vr chat are furries lol so I guess it's wierd to see a normal person around
Nah, i agree with dude. Those "people" are generic as heck and their most defining character trait is probably that they enjoy rice crispy treats.
gold
Haha this one made me laugh
TO BE FAIR xD
normies or "non-furries" are WAY more likely to be extremely hateful against furries, it's sortof a social adaptation to look at them in an automatic negative light to self-protect against a high-likelihood of hatred+harassment.
yep..
New type of VRC user discovered! The *hypocrite*
Thought this would be about people who bully furries in vrchat, and not the other way around.
XD Lol love this
Identifying people as an out-group is so... Cringe. Also yeah, non-furries is the best way to describe people who just aren't furries, because there's so many options that just aren't furry. Think of humans (under which there's already a lot of variations), otherwordly beings, (semi)deities like demons and angels, robots, household objects, foods,... Furries too are just one category of avatars.
Rexes everywhere XD
that when i was a victim to vrchat furry
It's either furrys triggering people or other people triggering furrys. A cycle we all want to end.
VR Furrys, Infinity War
Well in a way humans are furry as they are an offshoot of apes, who I believe are furry, so that is just good old fashioned speciesism. Still the words pot, kettle and black come to mind. One day their will be peace.
this is so real
personally I prefer more older furry avatars (and other avatars in general) over the rex's
Well one thing for sure the normies are all humans, or assemble humans like some aliens or monsters
OMG FUCKING THANK YOU!!!! this is why i prefer my sona im completely myself and not a sheep.
lol
I will never play VR, I mean, I AM WAY TOO BIG!
Most games have height scaling or adjustment. Would your concern be how much space you have to move around in, cuz I can definitely see that as someone that's average height.
What do you mean you are way too big? Maybe it's just 'cause I just woke up, I am thoroughly confused by this statement =p
I'm 6'2", and used to be quite round at 330 pounds when I first got into VR. It never gave me any problems. Heck, I lost 100 pounds because Beat Saber was an exercise I could do that's hard to over-do it on, which led me to having a healthier diet so I could do harder songs more easily. So even if you are worried about being big, you can fix it with enough effort (which will improve other parts of life as a bonus due to more energy and good feels).
General shape? Don't worry about that, people aren't going to know how wide you are based off your movements. You'd basically have to tell them or heavily imply you are overweight for them to realize it. Tracking and stuff can go off for a lot of people for various reasons.
Like Crow said, a lot of games have height scaling. If you get PC VR I would heavily recommend getting OVR advanced settings so you can use a play space mover (you can hook up quest to a PC too, but I hear it's a bit of a pain to get it working). Because no matter if you're short or tall, it's nice to be able to raise/lower yourself in game to reach things, or to lower yourself, and sometimes it can get you out of buggy situations. VRChat, Beat Saber, Boneworks all have height adjustments. However for my lesser player games, I use playspace mover to not hit my head on doorways like Half Life Alyx, FNAF: Help Wanted, Phasmophobia.
Oh and headsets usually have strap adjustments on them to fit whatever size head you got. Both headsets I got (original Vive, and the Index) have IPD adjustments to fit however narrow/wide your eyes are apart from each other too.
Soo yeah, if being too big is your only concern, I'd say get VR = )
@@keeshuunedited5678 I am ~10 feet 2 inch, 25+ Ton, Also my Cams are in different spots than the eyes on any animal, and ~25 feet long ~15 feet wide at my largest area.
I have a thing to laugh about of a different kind - I mean you "playing" a VR where you can do anything and be anything yet they choose a freaking. human. avatar. Those people really have 0 imagination?
I was under the same impression when I first started VRC, and I used a chibi cat avatar, I was not even a furry yet people started to eww furry at me in public lobby's. So now I understand that going from the norm can be troublesome , and I understand that some just don't want to deal with that.
I just don't really do public worlds for this to come up. I don't mind them but the whole e boy/e girl thing seems weird. I keep my furry business away from people business just to avoid drama.
I will say, on one hand, Rex's have no place to talk about being 'unique', but on the other hand, i'd rather rex no# 3006 trying to lay me than dealing with an E- Boy/E-Girl and their generic fucking romantic drama for the 300th time.
Both are equally as unbearable in their own way, its just one has more influx of them.
AN ABHORRENT CREATION AGAINST GODS WILL, REPENT!!1!1!
Funny thing to say, given the creator of the Rex species is very, very yikes.
I have a dream that one day normies and furries may live together in peace.
Rip
Maybe
There are furries and furries in denial
wouldn't call the weebs on vrc normies
Speaking of denial, I cannot confirm nor deny being one.
