I’m working on Harry Potter and the sorcerer’s stone. The binder method was all the rage when I first started diamond painting. Almost everyone abandoned it within a year of setting it up. It lacks room to grow aside from getting more binders. Rebecca’s (add more zest) method became the tried and true long term method for drill storage.
Right now I am working on a little snack-size set of four Springtime gnomes. I have the blue one complete, am half finished the pink fellow, and have the purple and yellow left to complete. They are really cute, but are so small that you really need a couple of feet to see the, clearly. I am waiting on three huge paintings that I have ordered to come in. One is the1800’s “Gismonda” poster of Sarah Bernhardt from Jaded Gem Shops, which I think I told you the wrong size. It’s 60 cms wide, not 90 cms as I had previously misspoken and then the 180 cms tall as I had said before. Then I have two (2) paintings coming from Diamonds on Canvas that are 26” x 40” I think. They are more abstract art but they really spoke to me! It has been so hot up here, but we had a bit of rain today which is good as we have a fire right outside our town. Leaving to go to the wedding this evening will be a bit nerve-wracking wondering if we will have a house to go back to. I joined the FB group, I think I did, anyway! I am NOT the most tech savvy individual. My son always teases me about it. I too take forevvvvvver to start a new project. I need to sort of map it out in my head before I start. Don’t let anyone push you! I always figure that until I see it clearly in my head, I am just not ready to start. I’ve done that before and I end up causing myself more problems than my little brain will handle calmly. Take your time - you will know what to do when the right inspiration hits. ☺️ We had a dog when the kids were teens that was half bull terrier and half American Staffordshire terrier (pit bull) Although she was fully capable of protecting us, she was SUCH a wuss! When we had an alarm system installed, the electrician remarked “it’s always nice to add an alarm system. You now have a passive burglar alarm in addition to your interactive alarm!” 🤣 One time, way in the middle of the one night per week that hubby helped out at a friend’s bar and restaurant, someone tried to break in through our patio doors, right beside where myself and the dog were sitting. I jumped up to grab my baseball bat and turned to see my wussy dog stick her face out between the curtains. As she showed the fellow on my deck every millimetre of her pretty white teeth, sounds were coming out of her that I can only imagine is what Cerberus sounds like! Well, buddy ran off, but I had to giggle as he tried the next two houses up the street. Beside us they had an AmStaff (American Staffordshire) terrier as well as three Lhasa Apsos, so basically three noise alarms and one that CAN take your face off. Not ten minutes after those dogs were done barking at the intruder and quieted down again, I heard the unmistakable barking of the mutant German Shepherd two doors down who was aptly named Damien. At this point I had to laugh out loud realizing the burglar didn’t case the neighbourhood very well; I wonder if he tried the house further down with the aggressive German Rottweiler? ROFL Well, I have to admit that your floral pieces came out lovely❣️ May I be so bold as to ask that some month you put Black Magic up against Tuscany? I know right now which one would win, but it would be the only way I will ever get to see any of my choices! Bahahahaha! Seriously, my luck is so terrible that, even though I always supported my nieces when they were selling raffle tickets to whatever, I bought them fully expecting not to win. It was with tremendous surprise when my niece, who was in grade 5 at the time, phoned me to tell me that I had won the raffle. When I jokingly asked “Are you sure, Ashley?”, she laughed and said “I know it’s right Auntie. I actually checked to make sure they read the correct name!” From the mouth of babes….. 😂😂😂 Well, time for this old bird to go to sleep. Can’t wait to see what you kit up next❣️ (((((Hugs)))))❣️❣️🇨🇦
Those sound like wonderful paintings. I’m so worried about your home. I’ll be thinking about you guys. How awful 😞. I use to rescue pit bulls. I have had three in total. My tattoo sleeve has three pit bulls on it. I will definitely be putting black magic back up in the cycle. I have a few paintgems in my stash. Maybe I should put it up against goth. 😂 Yes you joined the Fb group correctly. I see you on there. I hope it goes well. Now, in saying that, I WILL be packing our important papers including passports as well as my good jewelry in my suitcase when I go to the wedding. Hubby’s assistant car sits for us, so I have a “go bag” packed for her, just in case and put it beside her carrier in the living room. If anything happens, I know that Fluffles will be well taken care of. ❤️
No worries about Coco guarding you. You finished the chicken painting so fast…and you wondered if you would get it done in June. Uh, yeah, you sure did…with time to spare. Great job. Where do you think Joan went? Just burnout from doing videos? I miss her videos.
I guess I did get it done quickly. It was just so much fun. I thought I saw a video posted from her 3 months ago…? I don’t know. She lives in the same state I do. I hope she keeps going with her videos.

Yes I do both the binder and boxes. I was trying to separate the resin from the acrylic. I have four boxes each for round and square.
