I agree that there COULD have been a lot more to the routine and it was done very carefully instead of all out. Obviously they watered it down to protect Julia. Kudos to ALL the girls for caring more about their friend than winning. Simon, you are showing your teddy bear side by making dreams come true.
Yes! The girls didn’t show off what they could do as number 1, we were told they weren’t allowed to by production and it all had to be about the ‘story’ and number 2 because I physically can’t do as much as them!! So grateful ❤
She can do more, as BGT: Champions illustrated. That was after her surgery.

It's just a miracle she was able to dance because I just was thinking she was not going to make it with the surgery she had to get done. She got through it and I believe in miracles 100% and i am so proud of her that she crushed it and blew the stage with the other girls. She is a fighter!!
It wasn't a miracle. It was highly trained medical professionals. They deserve the credit.

Again, I'm upset by these judges comments. Heidi and Howie might have their own bias, but as an American I followed this group from their golden buzzer first released,. Simon saved this girl's dance career. Her story is inspiring. The routine almost matched, a step above the Britain's got talent champions audition. I'm so glad to see them. This is Bars and Melody all over again ,except, Howie didn't press his buzzer.
I understand V. Unbeatable is at their own dance category and expectation, but Merseygirls are right up there with them.
This is why i hate dance acts in these types of shows. As a professional dancer myself, all we ever seem to see go through are the really flashy routines that have lots of tricks/big wow moments.
While this dance didnt, you can see the passion each girl has for dance, and for me its way more important than a backflip

Dance should be an important act in Got Talent.
It's not only passion, but there's a storytelling element missed here, when the judges commented. I mean look at the beginning part of the piece, climbing on the backs, and the trust fall [what's the technical dance terminology]?' I thought that in the beginning was a step up from BGT champions.
I don't think the judges know anything about contemporary dance, which is why Julianne Hough was perfect in her season.
There was nothing wrong with what either said. It was good, but they are going against other world class acts and that isn't going to cut it against the other acts and it didn't.
Wasn't great at all..even Travis Japan's dancing was better than these girls..I agreed with Howie n Heidi..Heidi never being kind of rude.....it's the truth 😂😂😂😂

To AGT Fantasy League and Terry, you have met Julia Carlile who defeat all odds as a member of MerseyGirls. The girls will be right here for their first CZcams channel from Mersey where Hollyoaks was made in 1987 right up to today and it still runs on Hulu. Scoliosis Condition put an end to her career in dance but it wasn't long until she was ready to dance. Here's to the girls and how they made it through. Two of the girls (poppy and Annie) who were originally on bgt are not in the group anymore and they made it better! Other than three here the rest were not on the show

I'll go with Howie and Heidi, it's an inspiring and real story but we didn't see the wow factor,, You gotta give the best of the best, lot of competition that no one can imagine

I know exactly how this beautiful girl feels, I also have scoliosis, my spine is in the shape of an S, its absolutely horrible, hunched over,lopsided and chronic pain 24/7.. I also have MS, rheumatoid arthritis,fibromyalgia,carpal tunnel so my body is one twisted lopsided messed up pretzel lol.. Good for this sweet girl, I couldnt be happier for her and her dance group❤ To be able to dance and live her dream,their dream is beautiful 🫶🥰🙌Its horrifying when your spine is curving more each day and mobility is limited and each day being able to do less and less is very scary so im happy this young lady got her surgery at a young age.. im 48 with alot of medical issues so surgery isnt really an option but thats okay.. I watch my children grow up happy and healthy and thats more than enough for me❤

I’ve never heard them say something like that to dancers with limitations like missing limbs, etc. I don’t know why they couldn’t give same kindness to them. Saying to someone who has gotten surgeries on their back that they weren’t flying through the air…? While I agree it definitely wasn’t at the level of other acts, it’s just unreasonable to put them at that level.
Well, she did fly through the air on BGT: Champions. As it is, you are missing their point. Their point is that when other dancing acts are flying through the air and doing all these acrobatics, it is very hard to win when you are doing much less than that. You can't win if you are not on the level of those other acts.
The competition is not about your past, future, excuses, sad story, or about who have stuck together. It's about Performance.

They have to understand she’s just had surgery and like she said she’s got 2 metal rods in her spine. She’s also lost the mentality of it from being out of dance for so long. It’s not just about the dance, but the story behind it!’
They do understadn it. But they also know that this competition is the best of the best. That routine wasn't going to be nearly enough to win and it wasn't.
I was taken by their connection and the beauty of their dance.... Uncharacteristic for me but found myself bawling at the end of it.

More mature dancing and performance. She acted in a couple episodes of a TV show, a British TV show. But I can't remember what it was. She was very good. I was watching, looking at her, and I was saying "wait a minute, is that what's your name?" Simon probably spent about $500,000 on her. It has been reported to have been a lot less. But I think the real amount was a lot more than reported. Flying back-and-forth from England to Baltimore, 2 surgeries, hotel rooms Before & After, physical therapy, etc. At least one family member had to be with her at all times.

MerseyGirls as we told ourselves about was the former group. Later we will hear about what they did on AGT as The Rybka Twins' favorite acrobats or inspiring dancers. Which one? Howie gets honest said MJSBIGBLOG. He moved by routine but doesn't know if it's great. Heidi agrees with Howie. She calls them snoozy. The girl reminds everyone that has two metal rods in her back. Sheesh. Simon says. "I like the acts that want to win" He adds. "Stories are important. I think the crowd will advance you" There you have it, MerseyGirls.. Congrats and they want you safe since last night.....rounding the top 4 are.....

Lovely story. I’m jealous that scoliosis folk are able to have functional lives after corrective surgery. There is nothing medical to help me with mine. She is unbelievably blessed and I wish her the best.

AGT is a TALENT Show. Through the years on ALL these talent shows it's a shame that subpar acts go through just because they have a story that pulls at the heartstrings. We ALL have stories. Talent should be the ONLY reason an act goes through. I feel for the girls but I'm happy they weren't voted through.
It SHOULDN'T be about their backstory. It should be about their performance -- and I don't think they put the effort or skill or elegance in that other acts have to offer. So often it's made about their sob-story -- and that has ZERO impact on their talent. This was a very lackluster performance. And if they DO get voted through, I hope subsequent performances offer more improvement, instead of continuing to capitalize on the sob story & Simon's generosity.

It was good but I wasn’t blown away, there could have been MORE added aswell as the difficulty. We saw people in half with fire, an mogolian singer and litteraly the best of the best acts out there. I’m a dancer myself and I could have done that. They should have added the difficulty but the girl with the scoilise can do something easier. It was something similar to there last one.
I was moved by the story but if they do come back, they would HAVE to do something more harder. Maybe some acro, we seen the story, we need more..

IT wasn't her that put it out in the open. It was BGT. They invited the girls back for BGT: Champions after her surgery. So, it had to be explained how she was able to continue dancing.

Hey! The girls can do lots of wow moves but unfortunately we’re told not to!! We were told to only dance about the story so unfortunately they didn’t get to show off what they can do - lots of what we did was out of our control ❤

Annie’s working on wizard of oz Icon of the seas and poppy at top accountant she’s super clever. They both left merseygirls years ago to pursue there careers even tho Mel b said different but hey no they loved merseygirls but they are the originals, good luck to Julia she looks amazing and to all all the girls who joined quite annoying Mel b had no idea about the merseygirls story after Annie and poppy left but best of luck to the merseygirlsxx
