Hi mate! I have the same bike, now with sbk ( revoc ) exhaust, it's simply too loud to me, so i want the akrapovic system. My question is how much "smoother" the bike gets with the re-map at low revs? It's a bit shaky and jerky to me at low revs at stock, i heard remapping helps a lot. What is your opinion?
The "herky-jerk" at low revs/low speed is just the nature of the beast with this motor: characteristic. Mapping didn't help with that. Only smoothing out the mid-range is where you'll see the difference.
i always take my race exhaust bike straight to the track. I cannot believe some fools drive them on the road like this. They must hate the planet and have a death wish...LOL
That's a bit of an extreme view. Adding the exhaust doesn't make the bike 'that much' faster. It's not like the bike wasn't already fast enough to be dangerous beforehand.
did you cut the carbon heatshield yourself? I am trying to add the passenger foot pegs but my heat shield doesnt have the cut out..
I have the exact same bike. Everything is the same. I will change out the mirrors though.
