- Hey so fun fact everybody. Did you know Captain Ginyu is GOOD in this game? If not, you do now.
Jokes aside, Ginyu is pretty solid. He's not a step cancel god or anything like that, but his damage output is really good if you know what to do. The Recoome soul from the Conton Vote pack that he had added to his custom also does wonders since it DOUBLES your max ki and gives an M boost to all damage. The only catch is that you can't go below 50% health or you permanently lose the damage buff and instead get a sizable nerf to ki recovery. Very double-edged, but also look at his other souls. Not a whole lot of winners if you're not using any poses.
His festival skill is also amazing. Great for combos as you can combo into another super of your choice. If you're playing online and the connection isn't the greatest, you can even do Milky Dance into itself. If you want something reliable tho, use Mach Punch. It's a lot more consistent and it can cancel into ults too so Milky Dance into Mach Punch into FP Energy Wave is incredible damage for him. It's a fantastic move all around.
Hope you all enjoy the challenge run. I will take requests for other characters with Festival skills to showcase for the time being. Question, what are your stats?
I was using Combo A since it benefits most from the soul. Even with it being one of the lower max ki options you still hit nearly max ki so you fix the weakest part of the stat window and hit like a truck with the rest as long as you stay healthy.
