I went to FAMU with Andrew. Most of us knew he was gay. This news was no shock to us (except for him framing it as 'bisexual'). There's no way R. Jai could not have known it, but she knew he was going to be "successful" and wanted to be his wife. She actively pursued him. My mother was police lieutenant at FAMU at the time. She often had to shut down many illicit parties, and Andrew would often be there. As for Andrew, I lost respect for him. A married man carrying on with escorts and drugs in a hotel room knowing he has a wife and children at home makes me not feel for him so much.

"Bisexual" is more palpable to the masses when it comes to women. But for a man, esp a black man, the terms "bisexual", "fluid" and "gay" continue to be demonized. But they are forced to choose either "straight" or "gay" while women are not obligated to pick a side.

sexuality is about what you like, not so much what you do. and based on their covenant, if he has sex with anyone who isn't his wife, his wife might be consenting. so it wouldn't be cheating. you never know.
