Sitting at an empty table by yourself and complaining that dinner isn't ready right on schedule while your ex-wife is finishing a dinner for 12 people by herself is so passive aggressive. It's ridiculous how many people are calling Amy names here when Matt is acting like a child. He couldn't hang out with his children in the living room at a *family gathering* while she finished? Of course she's going to be frustrated - who wouldn't?

I live near them. Trust me, she's like that a lot in public when Matt was not even with her. She's VERY aggressive and loud. She was at a friends baby shower years ago and all she could do is make fun of the pregnant moms weight. Amy is not very likeable in person.

Matt Roloff did not sit down at that table to "Keep Everyone On Schedule". He sat down to be antagonistic towards his ex wife. It's not that complicated. If Amy is "notoriously" late, then why did Matt feel the need to prove anything at the expense of everyone else in the house. They split for a reason. If Matt Roloff can't make polite conversation with the guests in the house, then he can leave. What a small, small, little man he is. (And I don't mean his physical size). He's lucky he was invited at all. I'll bet that was his last invite too.

I’ve been watching all the old episodes after a few years and I now realize how ungrateful Matt was for Amy. It’s clear that Caryn is a home-wrecker and Amy was nothing but a maid. Very sad to see her being taken advantage of for so long.

Old comment, but I just wanted to say thanks because it feels good seeing it come from a man. Most of the men defended Matt and blamed Amy because most men don't want an equal partner, they want a maid who will keep their mouth shut and tolerate their bullying and abuse. So strong women that don't put up with bull crap makes them feel insecure. So thanks on behalf of all us real women out there who appreciate a real man when we see one. We see you.

First of all I believe he should be sitting out there with his children politely waiting for the dinner Bell. Even though Amy is late it's called patience. That's a lot of hard work to put into a meal. Amy was right,don't need to stir up the pot on a holiday in front of other people
Oh poor guy he had to wait a couple more minutes to get served his food because Amy was cooking for A LOT OF PEOPLE. And the rest were just chilling having a good time as a family.

Turkeys take forever to cook, and sometimes (depending on the oven) it's much longer than what the package suggests leaving it in. Like? How's he going to sit there, doing nothing, and complain about dinner being "late". Did he really have to say "good for ametures" also? He's a pig. sure, she probably cooked all day (with her caterer's on hand). Matt's responsibility's don't stop with all of the animals, etc on the farm just because it's thanksgiving. The fact that Amy is still sane after dealing with Matt for so many years is incredible. Matt doesn’t take any accountability and instigate a situation by gaslighting her. I think Matt is going through a midlife crisis. Just annoying.
I would go off on Matt too. This isn't his first thanksgiving. Everyone knows that Thanksgiving dinner is never on time no matter how early you start so for him to be sitting there rushing her he deserved to be snapped at. But at least both of them took responsibility for the part they played in the confrontation.

Matt knows how to set Amy off. No doubt in my mind he did that on purpose. Amy should be wise to him by now and not take the bait. No doubt in my mind that he will end up with the whole farm and Amy will be totally out of it.
And with his new woman...his kids get screwed out of enjoying it for generations to come. How many couples forget there own children's legacy, their history there and the value to the family as a whole. The kids are young and any of them could come upon hard times throughout their lives. It's a good cushion for the whole family to keep up. And this doesn't exclude mom bringing in a new man either. Be happy but remember the worth and value of such things during hard times.

The main reason why they got divorced is basically the same reason that a lot of other people who star in reality shows get divorced. There's a lot of pressure to try and make your personal life look perfect on TV and having to deal with the paparazzi takes it's toll over time. When every little thing you do is published in the tabloids and on TV, you begin to build up a lot of stress because of it. That stress eventually tears your family apart due to the pressures of having to try and remain the perfect family even when small cracks begin to form on the surface.

He was two feet away from Amy and said QUOTE " When the frost is on the pumpkin, it's time for Peter Dunkin " Amy responded ( NOT HERE ). Matt then said I wasn't talking about you, I have other choices. That's how it all started going very badly.

Either he just said that in camera to try to make himself look better (or look like the victim of the situation) or this is how he actually lives his life and he actually thinks even a family gathering on a holiday needs to be kept ‘on schedule’....either scenario is pathetic. My opinion though is that he was using this as an opportunity to showcase Amy’s lateness but it only made him look like a massive ASS. Who does that? Who sits alone at the table waiting to be served because they were told a certain time? Even though being told a certain time, most people don’t because most people understand and respect that it’s unbelievably rude and childish.
