- A nice wee adventure climbing the munro Fionn Bheinn 933m at Achnasheen to experience a wild camp on the summit. The views of the sunset over Slioch and the west were fantastic. Sorry for your loss Kenny. The video had a wonderful spiritual quality with the time lapse footage of the night sky and the beautiful sunrise and brocken spectres. The hill looks rough and boggy but worth it for the spectacular views.

@@scottishkennyg Thanks Kenny... definitely having quality time in the hills. Just back from Canada and did a couple of hikes in the Rockies when there, absolutely incredible. Looking forward to the rain and cold of Scotland now though 😂
Well done for lugging all that heavy camera gear up the hill! There seemed to be a few flashes overnight, maybe aurora? Did you leave it out all night on an interval timer? You certainly had a palatial tent! Ive gone over to a mld duomid at 380grms, an amazing windfirm mountain tent .... ive never gone back to my atko
Thanks Paddy, yeah spot on..camera was on all night with 30 second exposures and used a wee power bank, was a bit too cloudy to get really sharp images but there was a wee show of the Aurora..will get it next time. Like your choice of tent you have too. I've just bought the scarp so hoping to give that a try soon. ATB Kenny
