Guardians have take their swords. A guardian shouts "Stop Princess ! We don't want to do this." Princess turn her head and see a bird flies to the top of the palace. She remember the days that she play with her father at forest. One of these days her father said "There is nothing to be afraid about death. Our family, our blood... They live for our people, they die for our people. If one day you need to choose to live for your life or die for your people, you'll know what you have to do as your father." This was the last speech of him.
After she remember these, she turn her head back to guardians and smile. She knew what she have to do...

The guards drew their sword to protect her, but she waved them away.
Turning to the crowd, she stood tall. “I know you’re hurting. So am I. To be honest, I’m not sure what to do now that my love is gone... but we cannot give up hope. We cannot turn on each other. Our greatest weapon is each other, our ability to stand united even in the chaos.” She glanced over her shoulder at the captain of the guard.
He nodded.
She took a deep breath. “Who is willing to stand?”
The crowd erupted into cheers. They took up the chant ‘long live the queen!’
She turned her head to the sky. “Thank you.” She whispered. “Thank you for one last gift. I will not disappoint you, my love.”

@@joybowerman6516 If you haven't watched the Clone Wars series in its entirety, all 7 seasons, you have no idea how much weight that that scene in episode 6 actually carries. And what this comment means to some people. I can see why the likes are so high. If you haven't seen that series, or Star Wars Rebels in its entirety as well, I highly recommend them both.
Her look is hollow. Empty, like a white paper. Her eyes steady watching the ground. Unshacable and unmoved despite the chaos all around her. An unexpected peace embraces her whole being in a way that magnetizes you when you stare at her for too long. She looks at you straight in your eyes and you feel your soul being exposed to her intence look. You can see clearly the pain in her powerfull gaze. She is calm but hurt deep inside. So hurt actually that it seems like she is used to it. Her body is trying it's best to recover but she seems like she has already gave up, she is so tired of it that she actually dont care anymore. She stands there in the middle of chaos steady and elegant like an exxelently carved statue. Her beauty contradicts the chaos that prevails around her to the extent that tears fill my eyes. She is so beautiful as if she doesn't belong to this world. Her skin so pale and flawless covered perfectly by the haevy fabric of the dress. Her hair light gray like the color of the ice as if she was born in a cold winter night. The sun reflects the sparkle in her eyes and she shines bright like a fresh snowflake in the sunrise. And i cant stop myself wondering if beauty had a face could it be hers?

Her soul flowed, flowed out with her blood, the tearful silvery essence mingling with the scarlet stream, and flowing, flowing out, it's leech dragging her down as she took another tremendously difficult step up. Her beauty was comparable to above a god, yet her spirit was crushed like a rose, her perfect form only touched by a gash in her shoulder, the disgraceful reminder of the humanity and cowardice of the men in armor standing before her, their flashing swords standing in the way of her final wish and goal. She pressed on, and now they had nothing to do but let her on, for it was clear the more effort she expended would surely seal her fall, and they stood by, and did nothing. Her mercy was great, and despite many who would curse the sins of those fallen to darkness, she simply looked to a white dove and it's brothers, and they gave her strength, winging their way up up, and away, carrying her burden as she finished what they had begun. An angel, who's blood was given to find peace.

The world has been covered in Darkness for as long as I can remember. And yet, we still march on trying to stop this force of evil from destroying everything we have ever loved and witnessed. We will fight this evil. We will prevail in the darkest of times, and when you fall. I will carry you."
There she stood, defenseless against time and its sorrow. The city was far from peace. A shadow rose in the east and a cry of war rose in the west wind. She sagged to the stone cold steps, gasping for air as the last of her silvery wings departed from her back.
She knew not what the future held. If they would win the war with a shout of "Victory"! or if the blood of her father and her people would be smeared in with the blood of the great kings, princes and knights before them, forever to be forgotten. Would all of her pain to become The Last Queen be enough to save her people?
What about the sacrifice she had made? In a last effort to make peace with the bordering country she had sold her precious wings, given to her by her mother, to buy the peace her country so desperately needed. Some say it was selfish, that she did it to be pitied. Others say it was a heartless thing to do because legend states that when The Last Queen losses her wings, the kingdom will fall to ruin. But what was she to do? Nothing else would please the impending country and her kingdom was already in shambles. Yet, there are some that say it was noble and wise.
The one who supported The Last Queen the most was named Falkon; Her knight and loyal subject. He had sworn to stay by her side until death pulled his head, and heart and finally his feet away from her. It was more than mercy that kept him by her side when no one else would stay. It was certainly not pity for he hated to give it as much as some hate to receive it. No, one might say it was for the love he had for their queen and for the love he had for his country.
Everyone in the kingdom must decide for themselves. Would they back their Last Queen in the war or would they let her sacrifice and love for them go to waste? If hearts were not together and courage was not spread like bright rays of the sun on the earth, then all would fall to ruin and the country would be lost somewhere in the "History of Nothing".

For the queen was secretly the oracle of the will
And the summons scorch the enemy with a mighty hand
Casting them away, locking them out
As a barrier forms around at the castle
Now protecting the people, lasting without bout
Her blood pooling scarlet redder then her mantle
Her eyes they closed, with eyes of love
As her oath is now done,
As she shall fly now as a dove
Amongst others for the battle is now won
With a happy smile on her lips
She wonders dimly what the future shall have sawn

Wishing for their joy as she shall now go on

All of it happened in a single day...
All the hard work her family put into building the empire, now for nothing...
The walls of the city, once standing tall and proud now breached as invaders pour into the city like a crashing wave. The legacy of her family turning into ash and ruin in front of her very eyes, yet she can't stay and cry over all that is lost.
The last of imperial guards are ready, standing as a final line between the palace and invaders, drunk on bloodlust and feeling no remorse. One managed to strike at the turned princess but he fell, an arrow sticking out of his chest. He still manage to wound her and despite the attack she still stood proud...
Now, that he was laying at the base of the stairs he could see the princess in all of her beauty. The gleaming eyes, the porcelain skin and her back dripping with her own life... The doves once released on special occasion, now flying in panic across the sky full of smoke and ash, trying to escape this hell on earth.
Two of guards already run down the stairs ready to take princess away or be first to sacrefice themselves if need arises. The last of life leave the soldier who strike at the princess but she still turned to look at him. The man lying in pool of his own blood with sword in hand and in the background the city that once called out for her to protect them and lead them now in ruin...
A grimm reminder that what once risen must fall...
A fate which awaits all man.

If this was a movie judging from the picture, looks like a hostile takeover. The woman is the queen of the defeated kingdom. Her knights and king were killed and and her wings were cut off from her back. After many attempts to protect what little honor is left of her kingdom, she finally decided to surrender herself and her kingdom as she takes her final steps up the main court to submit to the new king with enemy knights escorting her at sword-point. As she ascends, she looks back once more to what used to her kingdom. Her heart is full of sorrow and silent outcries, but she mustn't show weakness. She surrenders with dignity, honor and the pride of her nation and people. She makes a deal with the new king, she will give her life willingly as a sacrifice, on the condition that her people, her nation and kingdom preserve their culture and traditions even under new leadership. She does this for her people, to leave a legacy. In this way, she and those who have lost their lives fighting, will be remembered.
She trudged up the steps as blood flowed out of the wounds in her back, staining her perfect silver dress. With each step growing heavier, her body filled with fatigue. The image of the men in silver armor wavering their swords and standing in her way grew dreary, but she didn’t let it stop her. She pressed on, looking past the fierce enemies, and towards her goal if there was one at this point. Now they did nothing as it was clear the more she moved forward, the closer her fall would be, so they just watched her struggle. She had a twisted beauty as she looked like an angel, but inside her spirit was crushed. On her hands now, she crawled scrapping her knees against the stone. Looking up the forever stairs, her destination seemed out of reach, but she kept moving until her body could no longer. There, as she could do nothing expect reach out faintly, she caught the glimpse of a dove wandering in front of her before it flew away with the last sight of peace. For on those steps, was where she died.

War arrived. All the flowers were perished and the only thing that she could see on the land were people fighting. She promised to keep her mother safe. But her mother wasn't safe anymore. She was inside and there was a high chance that her mother was already dead. She walked down the stairs and it felt like nothing could win this war anymore. The kingdom was at it knees. It was so close, so close that you could feel the loss already and that when the war just begun. A fight, between twins. One male, one female. Both had their books out, floating, magics flying. One fighting to save, one fighting to kill.
The boy was no longer human, the book had taken over, but he was still there, inside. He watched as they fought, wondering, why, was his twin was healing him while she was dying. Did she know he was still there? He looked down at his chains wondering, "Will I ever be set free?" He looked up again as his twin set up a blue wall and healed him. His eyes widened, "STOP!" He yelled, "YOU'RE GOING TO GET YOU SELF KILLED!" She was blasted back by a fire shockwave. She hit the ground hard and was stunned momentarily. He walked up to her a fireball above one hand, book above the other. He was going to kill her! Inside he started beating on the magic barrier in front of him, his chains straining. He was still in the form of a thirteen year old, but, three years had past. He grew older as he beat on the wall in front of him, the runic design flashed red each time. After beating on it for what seemed like ages, he broke free, finally in control again. He looked down to see his chains gone and to see his reflection in the puddle of sweet that had formed. He was older, features sharper, bulkier. He ran towards freedom and control. He was suddenly looking down at his sister. He closed his had that had the fireball and it extinguished. He closed the book, and reached out his hand, smiling. The books control was coming off him in what looked like purple ash. She looked at him in wonder, he was back. She took his hand, he pulled her up. She hugged him, "It's good to see you're back." She looked up at him, both their blue eyes were glazed over with tears. He stroked her black hair, "It's good to be back."

"I looked up and saw the heavens open up. I could feel my strength faltering with every step, I could feel an emptiness inside me as my soul fled. Doves came down upon my figure, I felt my burden being carried away. I stood upon the stone steps, as soldiers raced at me, but not with open arms. Swords at the ready. This was it. I looked behind me and saw my people watching. Something tore my heart as I saw a young boy standing In the midst of this horrible bloodshed. As I took another step, the emptiness filled me complete. Tears poured down my face as I saw darkness approach. I was not afraid of death but instead I wept for the boy. I knew him, I knew his father. His father had died in battle and I was the one who helped him when he asked. He was, in truth like a son to me, the son I never had. The one I wish I could of had. He stepped closer, and came to me. His voice no more than a whisper as he said 'I'm sorry'. I cried more as he raced up to the soldiers, most likely not knowing his full intent. I howled when the soldiers cut him down and left him for dead. I howled wishing to the gods if they were truly there and I told them to avenge the boy. He had done nothing wrong and yet they cut him down. Doves flew down, but instead of giving him life or killing the soldiers, they turned to angels and carried him away. Soon I felt a warm presence, Angels, as they carried me into the heavens.

I thought of this while listening to this music bc of the struggles my boyfriend is going through atm, how badly I want to help him, and how much of a limit there is to what I can do because we're in a long distance relationship.
A tired warrior returns after years away to arrive just in time to see this love walking to get married to a prince she didnt love. Walking up the steps she hears a name, her name, when she was young and in love. He calls for her, he, wounded after many battles, she looks back only to see the guards rush to stop him......
Mistakes, honor, beauty,truth,lies. The mind of a knight is a simpleton. Orders, fight, glory. What keeps him fighting is a fire that lives withing the confine of his chest. Perhaps for his loved one, perhaps for his taste for blood, perhaps for the exultation. In any epic journey his heart and mind in between a tug of war. Slowly with microtear he becomes stronger for future challenges.

If it may even heal a fraction of her sorrows, then so be it. From the mischievous eyes of her foes, she glances away to look back, once more, for that she could not bear the regret of never again seeing those beautiful eyes she ever so undoubtedly worshipped. She holds the side of her dress, begging her legs to hold on just a while longer. As her eyes lock into the golden eyes of his, a tear streams down her her cheek and she reminds herself once more. All of this, all that she’s done. And all that will come after her, it is for him. For that he may be safe. For that he may have the chance she never had.

_Princess Eleanor had made it, she was walking up the steps to the temple of Olpirt, the spirit of light. The temple was in the Raven Kingdom's center, and thus was guarded heavily by Red Pierce guards. Eleanor beamed in the wave of confusion that had settled deep into the guard's faces, she couldn't blame them, she was supposed to be dead. They all came at once, shouting and running towards her. The legendary raven princess still continued calmly up the white marble steps, light following her and piercing the darkness she would have called a childhood friend. Her silver hair flowed in the breeze which carried the wings of the doves. The doves twirled through the darkness, bringing their own trail of light for Eleanor's protection. The light started taking form into a dress that wrapped itself around the princess. She fended off the guards by emitting her own light, something nobody had ever seen before. The doves brought clarity. The light brought the doves. She entered the temple in a quiet manner, calmly leaving a trail of bodies in her wake._
_When she stepped through the heavy wooden door, she was greeted with warmth and a feeling like she had never experienced before. Like her mind was being cleared of all the cobwebs, all the darkness of the past. far across the small parthenon was an altar to Olprit, the Enochian spirit on which the Raven kingdom used as a foundation for their religion. There was a fountain, seeming to emit a soft white glow. Princess Eleanor took cautious but large steps to the fountain surrounding the altar. She felt drawn to it, she gently hovered her hand above the surface. Outside she could hear more guards arriving, too many for the doves to handle. Her awe turned to panic as she flinched, touching the water's surface...._
_The moment her skin collided with the water, everything erupted in blinding, white light. Eleanor fell backwards, but was caught by a dove. She heard rumbling out in the distance, and the ground shook. She ran out the temple as fast as her legs could carry her, her doves trailing behind her like wings. She opened the door with such speed, it almost broke off, or maybe it was the tremors that shook the whole kingdom. Every building as far as she could see had been transformed, black to white, marble to gold, and darkness to light. The clouds started to part, revealing a cream-colored sky. rays of light shattered the dark smog that always used to cover the kingdom. bodies from the war started to shift, her people waking up to the forever light. Princess Eleanor walked through the streets, helping whoever was in need of it. She made her way to the Castle of Ravens and walked in, greeted by the sight of her throne room, she walked smoothly over to the other side of the room and sat elegantly in her father's throne, now lush with soft light._
