As a united fan it's becoming easier to see a rubbish squad because we have one..... and your squad is rubbish. Poor squad building... You can blame poch but you have talent with no experience, character or confidence in that squad and having all that it's just as important as the talent, talent without mentality is nothing. You also have no incentive with your players, your board have given out long contracts with lots of money....they're set for 8 years whether they play well or not so there's very little incentive to do better. We did this with our players and look, your board created this and it will get worse regardless of the manager, just wait until players realise they can just keep getting the manager sacked and stink it up on the pitch. I remember when boehly came in I said American owners are too commercial and don't understand football culture in Europe and it wouldn't work, buckle up for more years of mediocrity.

Younger players have families to look after who have a lot of say in their lives, social media culture etc all impact their mentality. Nowadays you can't say anything without a player running to their agents or families who leak or give the players bad advice to only serve themselves and not the team... The manager can't fix this on his own, you need a board to cut this out and set a precedent that the manager is in charge, look at Silva's wife on social media... And this is a senior players wife undermining you lot. You don't see it now, but you will.

Correction. Reece James did not play and when Sterling was on the pitch, it was 0-0. They should not be in a photo with this headline. Where's Cole Palmer and the rest of them who lost to these teenagers? I predicted before the game that if Sterling played, Chelsea would win, and if he did not play, Chelsea would lose. In the end, Sterling played and it was 0-0 which could have been 1-0 to Chelsea with a disallowed goal for Chelsea, but after Sterling was taken off it was 1-0 to Liverpool which could have been 2-0 with a disallowed goal for Liverpool. The size of the difference is clear and cannot be hidden under the carpet. Sterling did not disappear, he helped the team keep the score at 0-0 because of his experience not ignoring the importance of his defensive responsibility, and also managed to get a goal at the same time only it was disallowed, understanding more opportunities will come and there was no need to panic. He's a serial winner. That's how you win big games and that is the balance and patience you need to win big games, especially finals, and those who do not know that lose. Defense and attack are both important if you are to win big games and competition finals and to expect more goal opportunities in the first 60 minutes of a big game, especially for one player, is amateurish and inexperienced and Pochettino not realising this is why Pochettino panicked and made changes taking off his most successful and proven player and then predictably lost. I predicted as soon as I saw Sterling coming off that Chelsea were going to lose. Pochettino does not understand what it takes to win, unless its handed to him on a plate and even then would miss it which is what this game in the end against teenagers was. Klopp did understand. You are also forgetting Sterling showed he was sharp and timed his run well and scored, but it was Jackson who carelessly ran offside. You cannot accuse a player that scored of disappearing from a game. If not for the inadequacy of Jackson, Sterling would have had Chelsea ahead 1-0 in the first half. How many goals did you want him to score in that first half. If he stayed for the second half, he would have scored again, not missed like the others because he like other big game players does not buckle under pressure, he becomes more lethal and he showed it in that disallowed goal as he did against Man City and has done in many big games in his career. Sorry, but if Jackson stayed on he would have missed his chances too under the pressure the whole team does because of their inexperience and so difficulty in handling the pressure of big games. Only Sterling had the tools to win that game for Chelsea and they took him off. It was always going to be the experienced players that scored in that game because playing under huge pressure is a different ball game and Pochettino should have known that. Klopp did know that and kept experienced players on the pitch for that reason and his experienced player eventually scored. Chelsea took off their experienced players leaving on inexperienced players and they all missed. The only player in the Chelsea team that had the ball in the back of the net in that game showing he was in the mental state to do it again was Sterling. You give such a player 90 minutes. If Van Dyke had been taken off in the 60th minute, he would not have scored. And if you ant to take a player of in the 60th minute, how about picking a player that has contributed nothing in the game, not a player that scored, even if the goal was disallowed through no fault of his own. Especially if he is the most lethal player you have on the pitch against big teams and he had proved it again a few days earlier. Anybody criticising Sterling in this game is just being disrespectful and the racist media brainwashing is clearly kicking in searching desperately for the negative. Against Man City he scored yet he was criticised for not scoring with his left foot with scoring with his right no longer being good enough, I even saw him criticised negatively for his goal celebration after that goal celebrating. Don't let yourself be infected by this sickness. Sterling in this game offensively and defensively was perfect and if his manager did not panic and allowed him to be on for the last 30 minutes, he would have done his thing as he did at Man City and Chelsea would have cleaned up. I know a lot of Chelsea fans wanted Pulisic gone but in hindsight? him or Mudryk? it's an easy decision. Mudryk is arguably one of the worst signings in Premier League history. I just watched back the post match celebrations and Poch completely ignored Boehly. To me that tells me he didn't want half the players you bought but I might be reading too much into that who knows. The relationship there isn't great I don't think.

We played the majority of that game in our own half. Poch keeps playing this negative football and just keep hoping we get lucky with a counter attack. Our players looked lost most of the game and not linking up together properly but most off all not playing with any confidence and that is 100% down to Poch. This will get much worse for Chelsea because the next thing will be FFP, all that money spent and you needed at the very least to get into the champions league next season, so with another season of no European football the FFP rules are going to hit them like a freight train. I think Chelsea will be lucky to get away with staying in the Premier league, unless they can sell enough players for profit, if they can't and they are hit with points deductions, how many of those players will be willing to fight for that club if they are dropped down a division or starting a season on -15 or more points. They can't just leave because a lot of them are on these ridiculous 8 year contracts. I think it's very worrying times if you're a Chelsea fan right now, the future is so uncertain. The owners reported financial discrepancies with the the previous ownership, fair play for that, but they are doing exactly what they reported the previous owners for, spending huge amounts of money without a proper plan in place if the team doesn't perform. It's almost like they believed that it would be a guarantee of success if they spent a billion on players, but now it's all going wrong for them.
