Have you ever tried frying green tomatoes? Slice them, dip them in egg, roll in cormeal add salt and pepper to cornmeal, and fry. I actually prefer then as they are just beginning to ripen, a little less sour. Alot of people prefer them just green. If you have never tried I suggest you do. Serve them as a side dish!!
