I go walking to get coffee and on yesterday's walk. Even though our weather has been in the 80's plus. We had a small thunder storm. As I'm on my walk it briefly rains. I was worried how close I was to the lightning. Thunder was crazy loud. So I look up and see a lightning strike off in the distance. I told myself I'm good. It's striking off at a good distance away. Next thing I new. The lighting hits the power wire, directly across from me. sparks danced down the wire. Strong enough to set off all the car arms in a 5 to 6 block radious. I felt a whoosh.
