Is Jerry Rice Really The G.O.A.T (Wide Receiver) NFL Legends czcams.com/video/ZoqhcxzdUlg/video.html

Face PC Gaming yes Jerry Rice really is the greatest. He shines t
In the 4th qtr or the playoffs.Compare Rice vs Moss in the playoffs and you will see. There wasn't a route Rice couldn't run . He blocked and went over the middle.Oh yeah once he has the ball in his hands good luck preventing him from a million RAC yards.Moss was a better athlete ....that's about it........HOW SOON THEY FORGET

    • @FacePCGaming
      @FacePCGaming  Před 6 lety +12

I respectfully disagree...He was spoon feed by arguably the best system in the history of football and two of the best QB's ever not to mention coached by arguably the best coach of all time in Walsh...Randy had none of those luxury's oh and btw....Rice cheated his whole career! HTF can he be the goat?

    • @joshmillarich4916
      @joshmillarich4916 Před 6 lety +12

Face PC Gaming he cheated ? The gloves used today are cheating. You see more 1 handed catches in a NFL game today than in entire season . Jerry Rice didn't take plays off so you could count on him when you needed a play. Also he blocked. Towards the end of Rices career rules changed which allowed qbs not to ne hit .Which made scoring explode. Also no contact for 5 yards on a wr. The 49ers system in the 80s wasn't to air it out. They dominated with Freddie Soloman and Dwight Clark.Who caught 60 balls a year. Most went to the rbs. Look up playoff stats rice CRUSHES in avg per game all areas. He was clutch.Moss disappears.1 td catch in 2 super bowls.Including a woefully pathetic 5 catches for 60 yards in the 18-0 season.Where was he when they needed a play ? Now look up Rice in Super Bowl.Don't forget what Rice did at 37,38 with Oakland. It's not even close you can say yeah he played with Young and Montana. But look at the passing yards per on every team Randy Played with. Not to mention Rice was on the bench in most 4th qtrs cause they were crushing.Moss played in more 30 td seasons by his qbs than Rice did . There is a reason he is called the GOAT. IT'S NOT EVEN CLOSE . I'm curious how old you are ? I'm 39 I watched most of Rices career.Moss most athletic and talented prolly. But no one produced like Jerry Rice on Sunday's...oh yeah he didn't get tired .He played his best in the clutch.

You an idiot! Randy Moss owns no Super Bowl hardware, quit on multiple teams.
Was known throughout his career as a guy who would take plays off mid-game.
Has no NFL records to speak of, other than b.s. rookie year stats.
His single season TD record is phonier than a 3 dollar bill . . . The GOAT Jerry Rice did it in a 12 game season, while Moss needed 16 games just to eek out one more touchdown grab.
Moss wouldn't go over the middle, while "the middle" was Rice's bread n butter. Why? Because Rice wasn't afraid of contact, unlike Moss.
Jerry Rice played his entire career during the Age of Defense in the NFL, where Linebackers & Cornerbacks could beat the shit out of wideouts and decapitate them.
Every week Rice had to play against a defense that had a Lawrence Taylor, Dexter Manley, Reggie White, Warren Sapp, Deion Sanders, etc.. but he usually found himself on the winning side, and he ALWAYS got his numbers.
Most fanbois like to say Moss was the "most gifted," and I say: Big Fucking Deal. There have been thousands of physically gifted dudes in the NFL that have amounted to jack-shit.
Rice knew he wasn't the most physically gifted athlete, hell he ran a 4.6 40 at the combine, but what Rice had that Moss didn't have: was the heart of a lion. No one worked harder or prepared more than Jerry Rice. Period.
Moss could never have done Rice's daily physical regimen --he's too much of a pot smoking pussy.
For 30 years Jerry Rice has been running San Francisco's The Hill --everyday, even at 50+ years old. 2 1/2 miles up!
      Let's see Moss do that.
You don't accumulate EVERY single NFL record by being "lucky" or having "great QB's" ...it's by sheer determination & hard work, something Randy Moss knows nothing about, he's simply a dude who coasted on his raw athleticism, and in comparison to Jerry Rice --looks and seems like a complete clown.

I hear you...I even understand, I do!!! Especially, when you realize he could have been even better, if...if he had been a purist(dedicated/worked on other aspects of the game etc.) ala Jerry Rice, Marvin Harrison, Cris Carter, not saying they were better talent wise, but if Randy had been really dialed in, it would not be a conversation as to the single-most greatest Wide-out. However, Jerry Rice, is the G•O•A•T...hands down - WORK ETHIC!!!

He was a troublemaker at times and if ever had the work ethic of someone like Rice or a Lawrence Taylor he probably would have been the greatest player to ever play the game but he didn't have that work ethic. That's why Rice was still having 1,000 yard seasons in his late 30's while Moss was done at 33.

Rice reamed the press up one side and down the other telling the press there are other players on the team naming a few of them, without naming himself, but what he was really saying was " you all of a sudden forgot about me". After Sanders left and the press went back to Rice he was a happy camper and never sent the press to the 'other players' like he mentioned. Like someone else said in here, Rice has the stats because he played forever but he never owned the field and the opponents like Moss did.

Randy is the most dominant force I've ever seen in my life in the NFL. In my time I've seen a lot of great players, but none of them, not one, came close to changing the way the game was played the way Randy did when he arrived in 1998. When you consider that for his first 9 years he had the likes of Cunningham, George, Johnson, Culpepper as his main QB's throwing the ball to him and later on Brady for a brief but spectacular time. Then consider the year(s) in which each one of those QB's had to play with Randy they also enjoyed career best passing numbers that were never duplicated once not with Randy any longer. Consider the complete overhaul of defensive schemes such as the Tampa Cover 2 that were designed, specifically, to stop Randy Moss and yet more often than not Randy beat them anyways. In short, when Randy was on the field, he scared the sh*t out of his opponents, he sold millions in tickets and merchandise, and completely dominated the league for well over 10 years. If the Pats and their egotistical coach had just accepted what Randy was saying to them in 2008 and payed him what he was worth their would not even be an argument over this subject because his numbers would have crushed all the others.

      dera michaels
Well, in their prime it would have been awesome and I believe that Deion could have locked Randy up for much of the game. This coming from one of the biggest Randy Moss fans in the world. I actually live in Huntington West Virginia home of the Marshall Thundering Herd and watched Randy play every Saturday live with Chad Pennington!! However, while Sanders would have had lots of success, at some point Dion is getting burnt just like every other HOF DB to ever cover Randy. Be it Darrell Revis, DeAngelo Hall, Dre' Bly, Champ Bailey or Ty Law, Randy Moss got at least one against all of them. What’s more, it’s not a coincidence thatRandy was on the two highest scoring teams of all time in the ‘98 Vikings and the ‘07 Patriots.
IMO him and Deion Sanders were the best to ever do it from a purely athletic standpoint in their respective positions. That said, there is a video online where of a very young Randy (perhaps even his rookie year) and Chris Carter and he carved the Cowboys defense up like Thanksgiving day turkeys. This was even when Sanders was on Carter much of the time and still getting scorched. This had much to do with Randy just open opening up the field like a dominant center in basketball. I. E. Shaquille O’Neal. If you take what Bobby Bowden has to say about Randy, then you have to put even more stock in Moss over Sanders. That’s because Bobby Bowden coached both players yet said that Moss was the greatest athlete he has ever witnessed. That is with 4+ decades of coaching and having people like Charlie Ward, Peter Warrick, Anquan Bolden and yes, Deion Sanders at FSU. Coincidentally, Lou Holtz also said Randy was like best he ever seen.

@@redriderbbgun8018 Has anyone ever "been Riced"? There's only one "been Mossed", sorry you are super biased and out of your mind, but to each their own. Sorry they don't have a category for "changed the NFL" like an actual legend, and not the best regular guy ever lol. Your entire argument is the most biased, laughable thing I have ever heard.

@@coletrickle1775 Yeah, over 200+ cornerbacks have been "Riced". Nice argument for clownboy Moss....are you even aware of Rice's accomplishments? Do you know anything about NFL football before 2000? I doubt it....
