- Wholesale for my small candle business has felt a bit tricky right now more than any other time, and I'm still processing why that is. Sitting down to record this video definitely helped me understand where some of the struggle is coming from, and it reminded me of all the reasons why I love wholesale so much. Faire is great! So I don’t sell my candle on there but sell my incense and room sprays. Those products are easier for me to keep inventory on hand. I’d say maybe stick with your simpler glass vessels for wholesale or something you can source locally so you can get them as orders come in so you aren’t keeping so much inventory on hand waiting for the what if. Faire is great if you add their fees to your prices! I love it because it opens you up to new markets. But I'm thinking about taking my candles off of it and only having wax melts and room sprays on there because they're much easier to make and keep up with stock. The 30-day pay period is a little rough though lol.
I thought about doing wholesale but it just doesn't seem beneficial for "me". its great to get my product out there but the financial aspect is a detergent. Keep us posted if you decide to do it. Maybe you offer some tips:)

Thank you! I miss concrete vessels so I hope you have fun with them. Hindsight is always 20/20 and I miss being able to be in control of making as many as I could. Didn’t have to wait on anyone else 😜

Can I ask why that is? Is there a video you've done you can recommend as to your reasons for changing vessels? Also, are you at all still making concrete vessels. Thank you ❤
Thank you! I was experiencing a TON of cracking with the cement vessels. For like 2 months. So I had to pivot so that I had product to sell. Months later I learned that everyone else experienced a similar thing! I may pick it back up again for a collection or two.

I’m still able to work on my candles, but it is the struggle is hard because you’re doing everything by yourself
