@Rik Wolters Agreed..Leave Armin alone, he's done alot to trance. He's still the gatekeeper to Trance for newcomers.

Rich is unreachable
I've lost count how many times I've listened to this set now, I even ripped it so I could listen to it in the car, I was there in the audience as the sun set and it was such a magical evening. This is a memory I shall take to my grave. 😍

How can someone thumbs down this yet? I've listed to this one over and over. Tracks 2 and 3 send me back to 1999 when trance was peaking.
Some people didn't get the last tune, i think it's brilliance.
For the the haters and slaters, tunes like this have been bonkers additions to sets for 20+ years
People on the livestream were complaining it was boring for a closing set, and I wanted to scream! It was a sunset for one, and Rich's sets have so much more depth than other. Just cause something isn't 140bpm banging, doesn't mean it's not perfect (which this set was). With you 100X
Any idea what track 3 is? It's the one that starts at about 12 minutes in. I've been trying to find out since I saw this live stream and can't find the name of it anywhere. It's so classic trance and gives me chills ❤️
Track 2 is called ‘Sky’, Track 3 still an ID. Both are likely on the new album, hopefully out this year. With Pure Trance 8 in October, I wouldn’t expect it too soon though.
@@belartnouveau You and me both! I got one of his alias tracks from '98 coming this week. Hope to rip it soon and have it up -- maybe we will get lucky. If not, it has to be a new production with that '99 feel as I think just about everything from that era from him is on YT.

wow! anybody that can get away with dropping a the full version of Bohemian Rhapsody at a trance event, that's crowd control.....
There was a slight gap after Lovers and the crowd was dispersing but still, it got a bit of a mixed reaction at the time. And later the usual social media hang-wringing. Personally don't mind a bit of Queen, but not at a trance event. I've heard other sets where the DJs have dropped Kings of Leon or Coldplayn but personally I'm not a fan.
Fantastic set full of melodious trance.. Solarstone stays true to the roots of trance!
I was blessed to have seen him live here in Egypt and he opened his set with this one. I still get goosebumps and feel magic like I did back then every time I hear that track. The whole set was an incredible journey of pure bliss. I can't wait to see him live again. Not sure when but it will definitely happen. Much Love.

i ran up and gave him one of the biggest sweatiest hugs after a set he played during my bday in 2011. kind of feel bad for being so forceful, he clearly just wanted to go for a drink and smoke in the fresh air. oddly security had abandoned him since there was a more appealing artist playing on a different stage lol. nevertheless, eternal respect for being a healing facilitator of mine and my friends younger years. it actually brings tears to my eyes in the combination of listening to this stuff telling the story, but the bedrock of it all is just LOVE

Grr, that's what I thought, I've been searching for the name of this track since the live stream. It totally blew me away, it reminds me so much of old school trance from the 90s.
