I can say my Aussie lockers sound the exact same way from day 1 to now so about 2500 miles later mostly all trail miles it’s seen it’s share of abuse the first day I really thought we installed the rear wrong somehow so I pulled the cover check the tolerances with a feelers gauge everything was in spec filled it back up & quit worrying about it figured if something breaks it breaks…so far so good

how’s yours holding up? i’m using one in a ford 8.8 for drifting and im scared it’s gonna break but just like you i’ve opened up the diff and it was still in spec. it’s on a daily driver as well and the only annoying thing about it is the extremely hard ratcheting when doing a full degree turn. i have a crown vic and maybe the king wheel base has something to do with it but when doing a full circle turn with no gas it sounds and feels like something is breaking. that’s why i just send every turn 😂🤟🏼
