Thanks for the concise and helpful video, it feels like such an obvious solution now that I look at it. I really appreciated the full subtitles too, a small detail to many but it's great for hard of hearing folk like me.

Finally found help! Thanks, Justin. The key to success looks to be the corner reinforcement. What size corner brace do I need?
Hey SE. Inch and a half to 2 inch should work. Thanks for commenting!
Thanks for that. I'll be out to a local hardware store this week to ask about these braces. Sure hope they know what I'm talking about.
you go this gerald! heres a link to the braces so you can take a look. Good luck!

Great video! One thing I don’t understand though - what is the glue going to do? It seems that if you’re just putting a line of it along the joint after you’ve connected the pieces, there won’t be enough of it making contact to hold the pieces together.
hey gordon...the bracket holds it, the glue is just for extra.. the wood glue runs in the crack and adds stability
Thank you
Right back at you
nice
thank you sir!
Thank you. Great job of the video. Easy to understand. Only wish I had a drill. Can you just use the glue?
thank you cheryl and yes ma'am! you certainly can use a construction adhesive in place of screwing!
A nice and simple, quick and effective solution. No need to mess about with dowels or joints and have to wait ages for the glue to set as the main support.
I'd probably put some wood glue on it all first before putting them together again, then screw those braces on, then fill in the gaps with glue around the edges - as you did - wipe off the excess, then leave it all for a day or two to dry properly and then take the braces off again when they're not needed, so they'd be reusable as a tool to fix other things in the same way in the future.
I was thinking the same about putting wood glue on the pieces before assembling the drawer and the cleaning up any excess. Thank you for your comment and validating my thought. I am not a pro. Just a guy trying to fix his cabinet drawer himself.
thank you!
corner braces ! great idea, do you know how many times iv'e kept fixing the same drawer , that should take care of it once and for all !

Hi. Good video. Will this also be the same technique for a tallboy drawer? The face has come off
Hey Heidi, great question. Absolutely absolutely but you would do your best to hide the hardware.
what is that tool you used to snip the pins?.. I don't want those pins to go flying and hit someone in the eye.. do I have to use a drill? what kind of glue is that? thanks for the video
hi ohh! lots of questions.. ok here goes;
the tool is called "side cutters" located next to the pliers at the hardware store.
you dont have to use a drill, a screw driver should work fine.
and any wood glue, i think this one was gorilla glue.. i hope this helps! thanks for watching!
What's the tool called that you used to scrape the old glue off with?
Hey op. That’s an six in one painters tool. Maybe called 12 depending on how fancy it is.
What’s the size of the screws please
hey pao...not sure man..buy the handle....
Paul wall has a home improvement channel?
Thanks for watching!
One of my kitchen drawer got stuck. Then the wood for the drawer face snapped off when I tried to get the drawer unstuck. I wonder how much Maintenance will charge us for that.
hey alexis! thanks for commenting!
Had a dresser drawer face do that. Now can fix it using this video. Wife wants to buy new dresser at $400.00. I said HELL NO.

You got that right mega.
This is only a fix for a drawer that size. Smaller drawers require a completely different tool choice.

I have ideas. You worked on real wood. Mine are pressed wood.
Hi Diane, usually the face will be real wood but the drawers will be pressboard in Newer cabinets. I hope the video help
