The round chocolate cake in the ready to grab fridge was the most decadent, delicious thing that has graced my mouth. I had got it for my mom's birthday cake and just wrote on it with a frosting pen and used sprinkles. Their bakery in general is MAGIC

@@ksacosta69 Freeze in quarters, thirds, or sixths so you only thaw out what you need. The only issue with freezing is that the icing/whip on top won't survive the freezing if you're wrapping each section.

Live in Wales and tried Kirkland cheesecake for the first time on the weekend and it was amazing! Was at a party and there were like 6 desserts to choose from. I had the biscoffi cheesecake and it was heavenly! Definitely up for a desert video.

We get the Costco apple pie for every thanksgiving because it’s amazing and accidentally vegan (dairy free woo hoo). Definitely worth it! Better than anything I could make for sure.

I am not going to lie, I am not a huge fan of cheesecake but THAT cheesecake looked soooo good. Maybe I need to stop cooking so much and just go buy pre-packaged meals at Costco 😅
This was a BIG lesson I learned with this video! That chili is impeccable and when I am too lazy to cook this winter, you better believe I'm going back!!
My personal hack for the Costco chili is to add about a tablespoon of mayonnaise to a bowl of it. Mix lightly so that streaks of mayo still show. It adds a tang to the chili that takes it to another level. The great thing about this chili is that it’s chunky hamburger heavy and medium light on the beans. It has a good middle of the road flavor so I’m sure it can be modified in other ways to suit individual tastes. Freezes well. I weigh out individual servings in zip lock bags and freeze. Price makes it a great value too.

I get Sam's Club's rotisserie chicken and serve it with homemade roasted garlic dill potatoes and creamed spinach. With the leftover chicken I turn it into and orange chicken stir fry 🤤😋🤤😋.
I like your report and have tried most of the items. The chili and cheesecake are favorites. My issue with the chicken is that they are undercooked. I risked one again last week after a long hiatus with same result. My solution is to put it in the oven for 30-45 minutes once I get home. That is enough to render more of the fat (and added globules) from the meat and to eliminate the blood around the leg and thigh. It's a lot of chicken for $5 but I have some reservations about what is injected before cooking. I've read the accounts on social media about the temperature checks and that they are really cooked. Maybe the prescribed times aren't enough for the larger birds? They also changed the packaging at my local store and now put them in bags instead of the traditional trays. It's hard to get them out of the bag without a greasy splash.

I agree with you about mac and cheese! That cheesecake looks so delicious, the way you described it was great. Desserts are always the best, you have to make a video about it.
The issue with the rotisserie chicken is that either 1) you're not eating it immediately after buying, and/or 2) you're not heating it up properly the next day. If you're going to keep it while and eat it after it's cooled once, the best way to heat it back up whole is to place it breast-side down in a crockpot or instant pot, preferably on top of some rice or noodles, broth, your preferred veggies and soup or rice spices (I like onions, leeks, garlic, a few carrots and a bit of celery, some bouillon powder, etc.). Keep it in there until the rice/noodles are cooked through and the chicken is both reheated and the fat has rendered down into the rice/noodles. Serve with oven-roasted broccoli, brussels sprouts, or green beans on the side. OR do the same but without the rice/noodles, tear down the chicken once cool enough to handle, use the broth to make gravy, and pour everything over hot biscuits or mashed potatoes.

I really like these videos, because they really help me when I have bad days, also I love your new haircut, it really suits you. I would also love to see Costco’s desserts/pastries options, since I live in Copenhagen in Denmark and I have not yet traveled to and experienced USA. So I really feel I get to live vicariously through you in these videos, also they seriously sparks my curiosity for what there is available to eat in USA. The fact that we both also have strong negative feelings with cilantro, raisins and some other things for sure too, makes me really feel like I can trust your taste rankings and I really appreciate the hard work that you do. Banana, cilantro, raisins, smelly cheeses (like blue) and some other food things could all get in a rocket and be send directly towards the sun so they could burn up and disappear forever, in my opinion but I also know that it’s probably just me who feels that way😅.

@@ErinRobinsonI always add half and half, fresh cracked pepper. Mix it well. Top with bread crumbs, mixed with a little Parmesan cheese. So good with just a little work. Best Mac and cheese I ever ate. You can add a few pats of butter on top to brown it a little too.

I totally agree with you about the chicken alfredo. There is a really strange taste to the sauce. We didn't like it all. However, we love the meatloaf and mashed potatoes, such a great, easy dinner!

I do like the rotisserie chickens. I do think they are so popular because 1. They are a good deal. Larger than grocery store rotisseries and cheap! And 2. Delicious and very versatile. I can make several meals/recipes from one chicken.

It has a good middle of the road flavor so I’m sure it can be modified in other ways to suit individual tastes. Freezes well. I weigh out individual servings in zip lock bags and freeze. Price makes it a great value too.

I like your report and have tried most of the items. The chili and cheesecake are favorites. My issue with the chicken is that they are undercooked. I risked one again last week after a long hiatus with same result. My solution is to put it in the oven for 30-45 minutes once I get home. That is enough to render more of the fat (and added globules) from the meat and to eliminate the blood around the leg and thigh. It's a lot of chicken for $5 but I have some reservations about what is injected before cooking. I've read the accounts on social media about the temperature checks and that they are really cooked. Maybe the prescribed times aren't enough for the larger birds? They also changed the packaging at my local store and now put them in bags instead of the traditional trays. It's hard to get them out of the bag without a greasy splash.

The issue with the rotisserie chicken is that either 1) you're not eating it immediately after buying, and/or 2) you're not heating it up properly the next day. If you're going to keep it while and eat it after it's cooled once, the best way to heat it back up whole is to place it breast-side down in a crockpot or instant pot, preferably on top of some rice or noodles, broth, your preferred veggies and soup or rice spices (I like onions, leeks, garlic, a few carrots and a bit of celery, some bouillon powder, etc.). Keep it in there until the rice/noodles are cooked through and the chicken is both reheated and the fat has rendered down into the rice/noodles. Serve with oven-roasted broccoli, brussels sprouts, or green beans on the side.
OR do the same but without the rice/noodles, tear down the chicken once cool enough to handle, use the broth to make gravy, and pour everything over hot biscuits or mashed potatoes.
THESE ARE MAJOR TIPS! Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this because I for sure didn't heat it up like this and I bet it would have tasted better!

So I really feel I get to live vicariously through you in these videos, also they seriously sparks my curiosity for what there is available to eat in USA.
The fact that we both also have strong negative feelings with cilantro, raisins and some other things for sure too, makes me really feel like I can trust your taste rankings and I really appreciate the hard work that you do.
Banana, cilantro, raisins, smelly cheeses (like blue) and some other food things could all get in a rocket and be send directly towards the sun so they could burn up and disappear forever, in my opinion but I also know that it’s probably just me who feels that way😅.

@@ErinRobinsonI always add half and half, fresh cracked pepper. Mix it well. Top with bread crumbs, mixed with a little Parmesan cheese. So good with just a little work. Best Mac and cheese I ever ate. You can add a few pats of butter on top to brown it a little too.
I just tried costco for the first time and got these caramel apple mini cakes (they're pretty big though) and it was just okay. You should definitely try more from costco and give some suggestions!

I totally agree with you about the chicken alfredo. There is a really strange taste to the sauce. We didn't like it all. However, we love the meatloaf and mashed potatoes, such a great, easy dinner!

I do like the rotisserie chickens. I do think they are so popular because 1. They are a good deal. Larger than grocery store rotisseries and cheap! And 2. Delicious and very versatile. I can make several meals/recipes from one chicken.
