    Your analysis and conclusions are spot on but what do you mean that SA were not at their best. They were the same team that beat us in test 1. This time we out muscled and out played them. The BOKS are known as tough, proud MF's that are hard to beat in their own back yard and deserve to be World Champions. This time the No2 in the world showed them we are not far behind and we were deprived of being in the RWC final because of the tough group we were in, probably contrived deliberately by the powers that be. ☘️☘️

Incredibly they were still sloppy at times today, some silly errors at times but you cant argue with Irelands intensity in the first half. If ireland could tighten up with the unforced errors and can carry that ferocious first 20 minutes across into the second half, the youre talking serious serious quality. As a Bok supporter I think this analysis is fair. On the attack I think Mark Keohane and Zelim Nel called it after last weeks test so have to credit them, but they said Tony Brown coming from a team that doesn't have the players to compete means he has to get creative in trying to maximize the little opportunity they get. They were right because it seems like we try to score a try from every line out and throw passes that are not on and take the wrong options.

    The series win in NZ was bigger. Maybe if this had been a 3 game series it would have been. Beating the boks in the WC was pretty big too, then you’re onto grand slams after that. We did thrash France away in the 6n just gone by which was really good as well but they were a bit demoralised after the WC but then so were we. We just need some of our U20 players from the last 3 years to break through now to give us a turbo boost.

    Ireland were definitely up for it, and SA although largely offset the physicality Ireland brought. Where SA lost it imo is that they weren't accurate in a lot of what they did. Hats off to Ireland for hanging in there and getting over the line with the final play.. Overall a great advert for rugby

      What do you mean, it was a draw so we are still ranked 1. Fair play to Ireland and it can still always change but we are still no1, so no … we deserve that no1 spot as world champions and as this was a draw test series.

    The Abs test win is still the best win, B4 that test series Ireland were not number 1 and not considered a big WC contender. That series win put ireland on a map they have never been on, this win just kinda told us that ireland are that same unreal team as they were when they won the ABs series

    Ireland showing just how good they are, and the amount of depth and talent they have. With so many players out with injury, they were still able to front up and get the job done.
    Not hating on South Africa, but what happened to the running style and expansive game plan? Unfortunately, it seems they went back into their shell and played their usual style, which I believe cost the Springboks. With all the ball they had, not once did they kick to the corner, Grant Williams boxed kicked every chance he got.
    Last but not least, can someone explain to me why the Springboks are playing in their away jersey?

      Ireland have just gone from strength to strength. What annoys me is how us Kiwis rubbished Fozzie seemingly dismissing what was a formidable Irish side. The writing had been on the wall prior.

    An incredible match and so happy that Ireland won I felt that the S.African media where getting just a bit arrogant and predicting stupid scores Very definitely was alot more intense today compared to last week S.Africa where lucky and had the rub of the green last week While Ireland where a tad off their best NOT TODAY Ireland turned up and played Scored the tries While the Bok could only kick penalties Which i felt quite a few where a bit dubious Anyway going to enjoy a few pints now lol

    Ireland should have lost that game. They were done, but a drop got them over the line. They did win the series though. They needed the one win down in SA to call it a success and they achieved that. Congrats Ireland on getting a win down in SA.
    It was pretty clear they wanted to put a buffer up in the first 40 with the bomb squad comming up.
    SA struggling to adopt the Kiwi style still (Tony Brown), but it will get better over time, and the introduction of some fresh hungry talent.

  • @zebinmarais4697
    @zebinmarais4697 Před měsícem

    Rassie changed his game plan but neglected to adjust having his best players start the game. Finishing well with the bom squad, is the old game plan design. The change of scrum half in the second half is testament to this. Staring Marks and playing an actual eight man not Kwaga will make all the difference. The coach did not learn any lessons from the first test.

    Not sure if the series draw is the greatest achievement id still put the 2-1 over NZ first, or maybe the 09 grand slam that kicked off our ascent to being in and around the top of rugby, but id say its the best single game achievement, given as weve never won a QF😂

    What changed in the 2nd half was that SFM stopped running the ball upfield which forced IL into penalties. For some reason, he started kicking up and unders, which IL easily caught. BAD DECISION-MAKING BY BOKS!! IL deserved their win!
