Yes.. actually nobody needs his permission to give equal spacing to others. the director is the boss here. He has to do what he's paid for. But since other actors in the field do so and directors agree, he could have done the same. But, he didn't. So, thanks to him for understanding his position as just an actor and nothing more. Vijay, Ajith, everyone else must be put in their place. They're just entertainers. Nothing more. Hope directors will gain more control over actors.

"The way Vetrimaran has presented the details is mind-blowing. Listen to the dialogue of Sankar's character in the last minute of his life: "nee chinna vayasula thooki valathavandhaane naanu?" 1:52- Paamb Poirchu - Shankar, 32, unmarried guy is a gay. He misused Raju for his deeds - notice the position where Raju is sitting just when Shankar is stabbed - Shankar was relieved not because of urinating (probably Raju was misused because he is the weakest of all in the eyes of Shankar - you can see him doing stuff like washing clothes - maybe of other inmates also ). Hence, Raju helps Senthil to kill Shankar and Senthil bails him out when Siva tries to kill Raju after Shankar's murder. In return, Shankar's brother Guna uses Anbu to kill Senthil and Guna bails out Anbu. Raju was Senthil's spy in Guna's gang and helped in killing Shankar. Similarly, Anbu was sent as a spy from Guna's gang and Senthil met a similar fate.
Next? Rajan raised Guna and Guna betrayed him. Similarly, Guna raised Anbu and Anbu goes against Guna...

One doubt for me.. Why Senthil and Guna don't come to know about Anbu only killed Jawa palani.. As Anbu visits Shankar's death.. One person is getting angry on Anbu.. While this film is brilliant on so many levels, i find it very unrealistic that word did not get out that anbu killed jawa pazhani. In the scene where he confesses the crime, thambi knows it, siva speaks about it in front of 3 people and there are atleast 5-6 other people who are there apart from guna, velu, chandra and shankar. Plus the guy in the boat when anbu is taken to bridge atti. I also find it impossible that shankar did not tell this senthil when he was about to kill him that he is not the killer of jawa pazhani. We also see another guy who wants to beat anbu for causing the demise of shankar at shankar's funeral. It is near about impossible to beleive that all of them kept it a secret.
