I've been following your channel for quite a while now, and I've looked at your tutorials and built orders.
Wanted to ask: When is the most appropriate time to buy the economic upgrades? It differentiates from the type of civilizations you are using?
Cause in the tutorial you taught, it's the first things a player should upgrade
Is it suggested to do it before creating an army?
And, if yes, is this the reason that makes a player fall behind from another?

It's not exactly an easy question to answer though my general recommendation is, eco ups > line ups > armory ups

To play fundamentally, you always want to get economic upgrades first. Pros steer away from the fundamentals if they think they can get an advantage, which is highly situational. It basically boils down to this: Can you damage your opponents economy more than you damage your own economy by foregoing the early economic upgrade?
This is where the meta games comes into play. People will try to pull all kinds of things to trick their opponents. A classic one is the fakie rush, convincing your opponent to spend resources building early defenses. Then not rushing them and simply booming your own economy. Both players get roughly the same amount of resources to play with in the early game, which is why it’s important to make the judgement call for what will get you the most value with those resources.
