@@gykgykbettercar I just checked it, however I dont think I will change the diffuser because I like the stock one. Maybe I will think about new exhaust tips. Just a quick question. Why did you cut the pipes off? Some people say thay you can take off the tips with the hammer. I'm just curious because it looked more difficult on your video. Thanks again for good content :-)
@@JT-lu5tg Thanks for Your comment! There are few reasons why you need to cut the pipes. The factory end is splay a bit at the end so the Akrapovic (which is my favorite) would not fit on the tube. Second, the length of the factory pipe is almost the same like the Akra this case if would fit anyway you would see the factory tube as well. For me would look silly... I don't know what type you plan to install but this Akra one is double wall version which is really nice if you just look inside. Unfortunately you need to work if you want to have professional result. 😁 At the diffuser the middle part is missing from the stock one. This is why looks more characteristic simply looks better. Plus, we made black parts at the front and to keep the balance you need the same amount of black at the end. 👍 Up to you...

Just wanted to say thanks, got this done today just thru this video. Normally i dont do anything to my car solo 😅The screw driver head for the last bolt is torx-27 if someone has to buy one.

Made a huge mistake and bought one for 45 dollars off of Facebook. I just received it and it looks pretty legit. I’m not sure on how to tell if it’s fake or not but assuming by the price it’s probably fake. I have t tried to put it in the car yet and if it’s fake I definitely want a refund.
Yes, I was not highlight enough how important is to check the source of the grill. Many offers are available but there are couple of fake ones... sorry! I hope you can find the right one!

@@glleboy2233 Oh yes, it is very difficult to decide simply by photos... My way is to search an EU source (means: EU company for order) which will bring a little security. Unfortunately all are made in Asia but not all are disaster quality. For ex: I bought already few times at germancarparts.eu as I know is a dutch guy having a stock in north Germany. Reliable quality but comes from china. He is changing if you see any defect... But also fine: DM auto Teile for these grid or mirror things. You will see they are not the cheapest but "try to" manage the quality towards our asian friends... good luck.

hello, there is no front camera, you are right. The camera is easy to fix by taking out the blank plastic part inserted in the place of the camera. I have some words to you in the video advising where you need to be sure you insert the camera if you have... good luck, I am sure your car will look just awesome...!
Excellent video, just what I was looking to find! I am getting a new g20 this week. I am hoping to replace the chrome slatted grille with a black slatted grille. I assume once I swap slatted for slatted, it doesnt matter that I source the part from an aftermarket supplier as opposed to main stealer?
Hi there, usually should not be a problem. I am not sure I got your point clear enough, you are going to change only the grill but the frame would stay? In such case I am not sure will work. If you change the whole grill (as shown in the video) there is not problem if original part or after sales. I hope this helps…

Hi Veeti, will be no problem making with M type grill, The active blades will work well. I also made 5 series and 3 series too with M and is ok. No problem of cooling. If you are fine with the outlook is ok 👍

Hi, you mean the LCI version I guess… yes, should be no problem as the modification applied to the bottom of the bumper. Grills must be the same. Hope this helps. Rugs, G

Try it because should work. Its a bit tricky but this is the way to do it... :) Try to makw it off on one side only - ask your friend to hold it until you make the otherside too. Good luck!
I have all the top clips and 2 side one 95% off but it is like they are catching on the final lip. I can see what to do but mine is being tough, il keep at it Im sure I’ll sort it. If not, my neighbour is a bmw mechanic 😂
Why not just chrome delete the standard grille?
Because for the G20 I bought the complete original version, so was easy to simply change it. Other options are not fit for my taste... :-)
