I am currently looking for new solo strings, at the moment I have Corelli 360 medium tungsten for the A-E-B strings and XL tungsten for the F-sharp string. I cannot see the ball end or peg end colors so I cannot look them up. Thanks in advance!

How wonderful...amazing! I was looking for cello versions, heard two or three and thought it wasnt worth it (compared to the original). Now hearing yours teaches me wrong. You must have mixed in some magic to make it work out so beautifully. Thanks a lot!

But in order to do that, you have had to achieve a level of perfection. I love this chord progression--it is not just melancholy, but bittersweet. @immabassist yes indeed, I do have an extended fingerboard; I suppose you can play those high notes with a regular fingerboard but the sound quality will suffer a bit. Good luck wit it, it's a great piece!

This piece seems quite difficult in double bass though... thanks for sharing =) To be honest, this piece is 100% perfect in violin and you played 99% in double bass(The 1% is the part in around 5 minute, you played slower than the original, maybe you were only making it stylish) Really gd:)
