  • "The Qur'an is a miracle. Nothing else like the Qur'an has ever been produced. The Qur'an is the strongest proof that Muhammad ﷺ was a true prophet."
We hear these claims made often. But do we truly understand them?
What makes the Qur'an so otherworldly?

If you’re a good Muslim, which you might be, I urge you to take that word out of your name-if you have understood, “To save one life is like saving humanity,” as our French African brother saved the life of a falling baby-as Brother Muhammad Ali followed Prophet’s inclination not to shed blood--as most armies do show violence by mindless attacks on people due to differences in race and creed.

We are a needy family, our conditions are very bad, life is difficult and there is no breadwinner for my children, and the conditions are harsh in Gaza because of the war and the siege
We live without a home in Zingo's room, made of very bad iron

I would really like when you recite ayah or hadeeth to write it down in both arabic and english ( the original ). Second and the most important is calling allah god, we muslims know that god isn't a name from allahs 99 names, although we know what god is, but I think it would be more proper to say allah not god. Thank you for your hard work I wish you all the best.

Anyone who criticizes the Quran or tries to find faults in it must consider these facts and then talk.
Can he memorise a whole book, the size of the Quran, by just listening to its recitation without having ever seen a hard copy of it? This recitation was done piecemeal over a period of 23 years. The chapters and verses were reassembled not on the basis of its chronological revelations but in its present format . The prophet recited the whole Quran twice in its rearranged compilation from memory in the last year of his life. Can anyone memorise all the chapters and verses of any book selected in a haphazard order and then recite it back in its proper order from memory ?
When you can get someone to realise such a feat then we can listen to your mental vagaries.
The prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, heard the words of the Quran directly from the Angel Gabriel (Jibril in Arabic) and these words were memorized by Muhammad, peace be upon him, and then recited to his companions, who then memorized and passed on these same words to their followers and this has continued to this very day.
The first word Angel Gabriel spoke to Muhammad, peace be upon him, was "Iqra", which comes from the same root for Quran, and it was a command to "Recite!"
The prophet Muhammad has never seen a hard copy of the Quran in his life. Normally you read the writings from a book and then memorise the whole book gradually step by step.
This is one of the miracles of the Quran. I challenge anyone to come up with a similar feat.
What is more extraordinary about the Quran is that it was imprinted in the hearts of the prophet and the Muslims since the very beginning of the revelations in the form of a song. Unlike a book if you change a few words in it one may not notice it but for a popular song if you modify the lyrics it will sound odd and anybody who knows the song will notice the discordant notes on the spot.
Normally a book has to be screened and edited multiple times for grammatical and phraseological errors before being published but the Quran was produced without such a process directly from memory.

“I’m a good Muslim. If anything good is said about our beloved Prophet in our holy books then I’ll say it’s true. At the same time if anything bad is said about our Holy Prophet then I’d say those are unreliable, misinterpreted and untrue.”
Unfortunately, most sincere and truth-seeking Muslims are committed to reciting their Al-Fatiha, 5 times every day.
Our words are potent. What you say repeatedly to yourself is more compelling than what someone else tells you.
This is why it’s almost impossible, to convince a devout praying Muslim, that Mohammed has flaws or that God’s nature isn’t necessarily constrained into a singular entity, or that Christians are not deceived, or that Jews are not cursed.
What we repeatedly say to ourselves, regardless of its validity, becomes our truth and belief. Be careful what you recite. 🙏🏾

as a muslim i think there are much better examples to showcase miracles of the quran, considering there are some good science-based verses that are valid which proves its miraculous nature.
reason no 1 that the prophet was illiterate is not a good reason as it cannot be backed by history. he was a merchant too and managing inventory, calculating profits and losses are part of being a merchant. no 2 with the poetry angle is very subjective.
we as muslims need to arm ourselves with better reasons and challenge ourselves on commonly shared anecdotes that may not be confirmed in the quran to properly display its powerful miraculous verses.

The word um I means mother in Arabic and ummioon means mother one. How can you say the prophet was illiterate when Allah says in Quran, read in the name of your lord,if someone cannot read why is Allah telling him to read? Allah was referring to the mother one umioon who is the mother one prophet? It’s Jesus Allah is referring to because he was also given Al-kitbaab the book just has all the rest of prophets were given the same book 6-83 to 6-89 and 19-56 all these nineteenth prophets were given the book one book singular same book. This is why Allah will place the book on the day of judgment and the prophets will be called to the one book 39-69 to 39-70.

Those who make all sorts of ridiculous claims about Islam or refuse to acknowledge the message of Muhammad PBUH are merely doing so out of their own ignorance.
If they cared to find the real reason why they exist, they would read the Qur'an.

  • @andrewfaniku
    @andrewfaniku Před 22 dny

Recitation and preservation doesn't necessarily equate to divinity.
Otherwise, “ twinkle twinkle star” nursery rhyme is recited preserved by millions and it isn’t divine. There are fossils and human structures that have been preserved for more than a 1000 years.
Decay or non preservation doesn't rule out divinity: the Ozone layer was created by God and it's not being preserved in it's original state.
The fact that people can recite the whole Quran only attests to the human memory and has nothing to do with the divinity of the Quran. There's nothing miraculous about this. If they stop recitation they will forget.
However if an original manuscript of the Quran exists preserved in its papyrus or leaf form against all odds of decay and the elements, then I’ll definitely be impressed and admit that it is amazing. But even that won’t necessarily prove it's divinity. Or if a 3 year old child can suddenly recite the whole Quran without ever having to memorize the book over several years- that too would be an impressive miracle.
My child's math textbook has no contradictions.
My conclusion is that the worst thing you can do to a child is tell the child to memorize or recite a “Holy book,” written or inspired by God-Any book! It impedes the child's critical thinking regarding that book.

Here is a challenge. Take ten words in any language, formulated into three lines or verses, and add any preposition or linguistic particle you see fit. Produce at least twenty-seven rhetorical devices and literary features. At the same time, ensure it has a unique structure, is timelessly meaningful, and relates to themes within a book that it is part of - the size of the which is over seventy-thousand words. Make sure four of its words are unique and never used again in the book. Ensure each line or verse ends with a rhyme, created by words with the most optimal meanings. Make sure that these words are used only once in the three lines, and not used anywhere else in the book. Ensure that the three lines concisely and eloquently semantically mirror the chapter before it, and they must formulate a profound response to an unplanned set of circumstances. You must use ten letters in each line and ten letters only once in the entire three lines. Throughout the whole piece, make sure you produce a semantically oriented rhythm, without sacrificing any meaning. Do all of the above publicly in one attempt, without revision or amendment, in absence of any formal training in eloquence and rhetoric.
Impossible as the above may seem, this is exactly what the Qur’ān achieved in its shortest chapter, Al-Kawthar (The Abundance); and it was expressed through Prophet Muhammad ﷺ who was not known to have composed any poetry nor cultivated any special rhetorical skills.
Informed by both Islamic and Western scholarship, this essay aims to showcase to an English speaking audience the Qur’ān’s miraculous literary and linguistic inimitability.1 This will be achieved by analysing its smallest chapter, and it will address key objections. Although this essay will also be appreciated by Arabic speakers, it will not delve into the deep linguistic debates because it will be of no significance to those unfamiliar with Arabic linguistics...
