5 years ago, I'm watching this because of the choreography and Lia Kim and now I'm here once again because this dance gives hyojin opportunity to show her passion! Salute to Lia Kim and Hyojin!!
omg this is actually Hyojin's first time coming to 1MILLION! she came because she adored Lia so much and thought that she had to learn from Lia and now here she is. What an inspiration to dream big! :)
my understanding is the 1mil used to record these videos some time after class (like at least one day and that's more time compared to other studios like millennium, which record during class). the students had more time to practice on their own time, create their own choreo for the recording day, and coordinate clothes. I think 1mil blew up in popularity and probably now records during the end of class/the next day in order to produce more content and fit more classes into the schedule, so there isn't as much time for the students to coordinate.
I genuinely want BTS or at least the dance line to cover Lia's choreography because the style suits them and honestly, I'm just blown away at how well made the dance is!
Jade Chen From what I've seen (not a big fan of them so idk) but BTS cares enough to fully learn a dance only if it's for their song / choreo if not they will just remember a few moves and maybe make fun of it. You kinda need a little bit of that dancing talent to do this not only to practice it 24/7 until you get it right.

Every group is like that, honestly. There's no reason to fully remember a choreography unless it's for a promotional purpose. But I'm not talking about how serious they are about dancing, I'm saying that I think some members of BTS can pull it off really well and I wish I could see them dance this (and yes, I do know that this isn't possible).
All theses dances to this sing proves exactly why Pentatonix’s a cappella music should be played on the radio year round and not just at Christmastime. At least their mashups and originals.

Woaaahhhhh I have never seen a dance workshop video done like this before... Taking the original choreo and tweaking it to fit your style, so there's a new take on it with each group. Brilliant, freaking brilliant.
Every group had their own uniqueness. They managed to change some choreo pertaining to the amount of people. Incredible. And that atmosphere is awesome.
When I saw Dahyun from TWICE dancing in the survival SIXTEEN, I was like "Oh my gosh it's the choreo of Lia Kim !!!". It's to see that the work of 1Million is recognized !!
+Eva Favaro i'm actually p sure lia does choreo for jyp?? in like the 5th ep of sixteen, when they were doing the team mission, team minor a did lia kim's choreo. at least that's what it said at the bottom of the screen and i saw lia posting pics of TWICE on her insta and i think she might've also done the choreo for ooh ahh (also in the same ep that dahyun did the la la latch choreo, chareyeong did lia's lose control)

After her performance, JYP was impressed and when he asked her "how did you get these facial expressions when you dance ?" (or something like that), Chaeryoung answered that she watched some videos on Internet. I think JYP trainees have to work by themselves so it's possible that they learned by watching videos of 1M on Internet. Our two possibilities can be true, what's the correct one ?! :D ^^

i seriously loved how all the different groups all had their own unique twist while following the original choreography. All the groups were super creative, not the mention the dance was doooooppppeee.
I can't express my love enough for this choreography, each one of you is so amazing. I love how you all made it your own thing by changing a couple things here and there, so much creativity and a great passion for dance, I loved it, you guys are unreal!
I watched this back when I was in school in 2015 to get references for the annual function at my school. And became a fan of 1million. Watched the second upload of Lalalatch posted in 2016 and became a fan of the short haired version Hyojin Choi. Went to college, used 1million choreo to audition for the dance society. Later got into hallyu by 2018. Finally in 2021 I watched Hyojin Choi talk about the beginning of her career with this exact video, on knowing brothers. Made me feel like I grew up with it.

I've watched this like 80 times and just now realized that's Hyojin with long hair dancing with Lia at the beginning. She looks so different with it cut. I gotta say the short hair suits her, highlights all the faces she pulls.

Haven't been here for a long time but I quickly recall to those days, back then in 2016 when 1 Million Dance played big role in being an unexpected moodboster in my hectic 7th semester in campus. Thankyou Lia Kim, and all yo boys and gurls for being there with me putting some fragrance on those late-night homeworks lol. This was my jam!
This choreography is so good! Everyone was absolutely amazing but the girl with the gray shirt that danced with Lia (who demolished my existence with her moves as usual) in the beginning and the guy wearing black in the second group were just wow 👌

Superb choreography. That second group (the guy and two girls) is just magical. I actually felt like they were telling me a story - so precise and meaningful. I've watched just them at least 20 times already.
even after all these years, this video remains as my favourite video from 1million and my favourite lia kim dance phase. honestly, the choreography blended in so perfectly with the song and the crowd was just hype af, plus it was refreshing to see the students work in groups, coordinate their outfits and perform their variations of the choreo!!

I love how each group was unique. All had the same routine, but each group moved positions and gave each person equal spotlight. Even the color/clothes correlation within each group is marvelous.
A few months ago, I auditioned for a dance crew and had to do a solo. I chose this choreography, and I made it to the dance crew! In two days, we will have our first competition as the Young Wolves. I can't thank you enough, Lia! lots of love x

Haven't been here for a long time but I quickly recall to those days, back then in 2016 when 1 Million Dance played big role in being an unexpected moodboster in my hectic 7th semester in campus. Thankyou Lia Kim, and all yo boys and gurls for being there with me putting some fragrance on those late-night homeworks lol. This was my jam!
This choreography is so good! Everyone was absolutely amazing but the girl with the gray shirt that danced with Lia (who demolished my existence with her moves as usual) in the beginning and the guy wearing black in the second group were just wow 👌

Superb choreography. That second group (the guy and two girls) is just magical. I actually felt like they were telling me a story - so precise and meaningful. I've watched just them at least 20 times already.
6年も前で今までいろんなダンスが出てきたのに今も全然見てて飽きないこのダンスはスゴすぎる。
even after all these years, this video remains as my favourite video from 1million and my favourite lia kim dance phase. honestly, the choreography blended in so perfectly with the song and the crowd was just hype af, plus it was refreshing to see the students work in groups, coordinate their outfits and perform their variations of the choreo!!
I love how supportive everyone is of each other and the choreography and variations are amazing!!

Every group killed it! It was really cool seeing all the different twists they each put on choreo

and I am still not over how lit this choreography is.
i'm just here this choreo is a legendary, it never gets old
I love how each group was unique. All had the same routine, but each group moved positions and gave each person equal spotlight. Even the color/clothes correlation within each group is marvelous.
A few months ago, I auditioned for a dance crew and had to do a solo. I chose this choreography, and I made it to the dance crew! In two days, we will have our first competition as the Young Wolves. I can't thank you enough, Lia! lots of love x
