Always great to cadge a ride by clinging onto a door handle as it came out of Nth station and dismount at John Barry/Guillemot - some scraped knees if he had accelerated - happy memories
Isnt it amazing how much the town has changed in only 10 years? I also saw your video on Redmond Square. Again , almost historic though only 10 years have passed. Keep up the good work! Wexford abu!
Nice video, thank you for posting. I miss the old woodenworks and think it was a mistake to demolish them. I also miss plaice and chips in the Grill Room at the Talbot Hotel (3:25) which disappeared when the hotel was "modernised". Not everything old is good, but some things are worth hanging on to.
Hi wiggyattheweekend I found your film from the engine cab of a train traveling slowly down the Wexford Quay circa1989 a few years ago. It's nostalgic and most enjoyable on many levels. Thank you so much for uploading it. I've tweeted the video link previously and recently embedded the video in my blog, 2dgraphicdesigndotie/1989-•-the-slow-train/ , I hope you don't mind. Iarnród Éireann have been trying to close the line from Wexford to Rosslare for sometime. I hope they don't succeed. Though, at this date, the slow train from Dublin/ Rosslare still snails down the Wexford Quay's. :-)

Absolutely wonderful. Nice footage. Is this line still in operation?

There's railings on one side now (on the road side), so it's no longer fully open.
