Straight up, low down, Chicago blues. Love it. ❤ written by Willie Dixon and first recorded by Muddy Waters.

    That’s Bill Medley singing this

Finally!!! To me this is easily one of the BEST performances that the Righteous Brothers ever recorded and yet, somehow, almost nobody even knows it exists! Kudos to you for finding this gem!!!

Yes, this is the legendary Bill Medley. He is still singing, and I saw him in concert 2 months ago. Still great! Now watch them sing the blues with The Blossoms in Night Time is the Right Time - czcams.com/video/7wRA9tfEwLs/video.htmlsi=hVGwHCeaMlPUDKSi. Also come to my channel and see Bill perform Brown Eyed Woman- czcams.com/video/EfsK9Q-tOkE/video.html. It’s fabulous! In Bill’s 2014 blues album, he sings this I Just Wanna Make Love again, along with Rock Me Baby, Drown in My OwnTears, etc, and a great song he wrote, This Will Be the Last Time. He’s a Legend.

I wasn't aware Righteous Bros did this song. I know others that did this cover as Etta James, and Foghat as well! Thank you for this share Sunshine :P

"I can tell by the way you treat your man"
    That's Glen Campbell on guitar...😊
This was released before Unchained Melody...it was on Moonglow records before they signed with Phil Specter who produced the ballads that shot them to stardom. For the previous three years they were R&B singers and very popular in Southern California.

The Brothers did it again. This time with a more raucous number. So they could both croon and also get down with it.

This song was a little too bold for radio back in the 60s so it's lesser known to a lot of newer fans. It is, however, more like their signature R&B style. Their songs weren't always the sweet love songs that reactors are asked to comment on so there are plenty more videos available where you can see and hear them let it rip. They were young, talented, charismatic, energetic, funny and way ahead of the pack in vocal abilities. Try reacting to "You Are My Sunshine", "Ko Ko Joe" and any of their old black and white videos of them on the weekly show Shindig. They would rock the house, live, every week.

Since it was/is an album track chances it would be on the radio was slim and none.
The original (written by Willie Dixon) single record (1954) by Muddy Waters was played on the radio; it reached #4 on Billboard's R&B chart.
The Righteous Brothers' rendition is actually Etta James' version where she changed up the lyrics.

My dear, this wasn't country rock, it's a traditional blues presentation. ✌️😇🌹

Yes Truly Bluesy Dan 😄it’s the rasp that got me thinking a touch of rock and that southern charm got me thinking country

In contrast Unchained Melody is a boring, soppy song. A song you know your mother would like as it is wholesome.
