This is a cracking scene. Only Dorothy could get through to him. Their friendship was very special and it's because of this he became and still is my favourite male character of all time
Bless Dot she really cared about Dennis. She could see underneath the anger that there was vulnerability. There was a really sweet friendship So sad that Dennis is no longer in the show and he was murdered
This is why I love Dot. She sees the innocence and good in people that others can’t even when they are at their worst. It was like she could see in his eyes that he never meant to hurt anyone except Dirty Den. When she went up to Dennis it was like he just folded because I don’t think anyone has done that for him when he lashes out. I swear if Christianity was a person it should be Dot and this is coming from me, a Satanist😂. I love Dot so much, one of the greatest characters in soap history IMO 🥰.

I always hated Den Watts. But poor Dennis. I can't believe that the others there didn't realize it was an accident. Dot was wonderful to him. They could've done so many more great story lines. They should never have killed Dennis off.

I always thought Chrissy killed him in self defense because he would have killed her otherwise. Covering it up and framing Zoe was her crime. Ohhhh I loved Dot so much. She was the mother figure to him, and he was the son to her that they'd both always wanted for themselves... The only one that could truly keep Dennis in check and he was the only one she felt she could really open herself up to. The way he'd looked after her and would happily kick anyone's ass for her... And the way she'd be there for him and defended/protected and wouldn't hear a bad word said about him... She could always see and try to bring out the best in them. RIP to the beautiful June Brown - and RIP to "Dorothy Branning (née Cotton), Mrs" 😭💔
Did Sharon ever find out what Den said to Dennis? He was so evil. Everyone thought Den was the victim but Den taunted him about abuse. He didn't care. Yet Sharon expected him to mourn like her
She was smart to stay away from all the ghastly botox and fillers etc. She looks absolutely fantastic nowadays. She doesn't seem to have aged at all, and she's nearly fifty!
0:52 Den was trying his hardest to make Dennis lose it, you can see that he regretted saying that, he would've stopped there and tried to make up with him, if Dennis hadn't accused him of being in love with Sharon.
I am currently watching the old Eastenders on the Drama channel at about 1:30pm so I must be near this episode soon. The old episodes are much better than the latest apart from Eve, suki, Freddie, Bobby and Linda. I'm sad that Mick Carter has left. 😢

Den was horrible here. He didn't need to sink so low. He just wanted him to loose it. He just wanted him to be able to hit back to make it look like he was out of control to a packed pub. Even though Dennis accidentally hits Sharon she stood by him at the end of it all she was going to run away with him until Phil got him killed.

Really wish Phil encountered this version of Dennis during their feud. I mean, Phil would definitely still edge him but he would have a harder time dealing with him if Dennis was as enraged as this. Dennis was so unhinged and enraged at Den here that not even two men could restrain him (I think if there was no one else there, he would have battered Den) and he only calmed down when he accidentally punched Sharon.
