Small thing:
Why does everyone forget the dr2 characters ALL survived except for Chiaki? That killing game was a matrix thingy, so they all survived.
Although, Junko killed Chiaki so she’s the only DEAD person in it.
(Not complaining about this, it was actually pretty good compared to others)
@- daydream - Chiaki was already dead before the matrix thing. Junko had killed her after brainwashing Mikan. Therefore, Chiaki was the only one who would not be alive after the killing game. She was the only one who died before it all happened. She was also what Junko used to CAUSE the despair brainwashing, I think, I'm not 100% though because I haven't watched Danganronpa in a while.
But as it was pointed out, no one knew if the "dead" would wake up after the simulation was shut down. So they would still be alive yes, but they'd be in comas until they either regained the ability to wake up or they would die while in the coma bc they wouldn't have all the necessary vitamins and nutrients needed to survive. Even with medical intervention, no one can live until old age while in a coma
