Moving Forward Amidst The Covid-19 Pandemic: A Law Firm’s Perspective
On March 24th, the Government of Ontario shut down non-essential services in the province. Many businesses that were deemed essential were tasked with the job of figuring out how to function safely amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Included in the list of essential services were law firms.
Over the past week, we at Nava Wilson - and many businesses across the province - have been trying to keep up with the ever-shifting changes brought on by the pandemic - changes in safety protocols, changes in finances, and changes in policy and law.
As we received new information daily, we maneuvered to conduct our business safely, while serving clients and navigating the daily changes. As a law firm, we had to look at this not only for ourselves, but many of our clients who rely on us for counsel.
On March 30th, the lawyers at Nava Wilson decided to conduct a webinar for 100+ of our clients and stakeholders. We let them know what we were doing and had discussions with them about questions and concerns they had. We received several requests after the webinar to share the video.
In response to the requests, we have created this five part series of videos for those interested.
