After looking back at the photos, I like the 1/6 likeness, but just wish they
offered a different expression. I'm not changing my opinion on it being the worst though, a great likeness can still be a fail from a bad expression. Please let me know all of your thoughts!

Update* after reviewing the photos again after filming. I think the likeness is third best we have of Hayden (Behind Artisan and AOTC), so ignore when I hate on it 😂
but. I stand by that I HATE the expression. It just doesn’t fit well as a figure to me, and I still think that makes it the worst personally!
Nah you tripping, AOTC Anakin is far better than this. I'd say that one and Artisan are top 2 with this one being 3rd.

Glad you changed your mind a bit. I agree that it’s behind the Artisan and AOTC versions but I think it’s far better than the other clone wars version and the original ROTS versions which I don’t think look like him very much. I’m definitely considering upgrading from my clone wars version but I’ll wait until at least the AOTC version is in my hands so I have at least one Anakin in my collection in the meantime (besides Vader of course).

I love this expression and I think Keco said it best. This is clone wars anakin. This is anakin having fun effortlessly winning battles. He likes the war in a way, he thrives during the war. Think back to him in battles in clone wars and he's usually joking or acting like it's not as serious as it actually is and I think this and more importantly the scenes from ahsoka capture that so perfectly. This is a must have for me.

I personally think it's the best head sculpt. I've seen Hayden in person multiple times and it's uncanny. The issue is that bad pose for the sculpt

The sculpt is exceptional and the expression is also good, but this hints at a bigger issue, lack of second headsculpts. I think in the future, thanks to competition, HT will start making 2 headsculpts ir faceplates a regular thing just like with the rolling eyes.

This Anakin can be posed with the older Ahsoka the white as though he never turned to the dark side, in an alternate Universe. Anakin and Snips as though nothing ever happened.
Great idea actually! Did she have the all white though in the episode by then? I thought she gets it after but maybe I’m wrong
I mean I understand why they did the sculpt like this, since the original one is an angry face, they probably want to give this figure a more unique look. What's funny is that I'm sure the costume in show itself heavily got inspired by the original figure, and now Hot Toys is basing the costume off the show, so it's a big whole loop lol.

I would put the OG clone wars anakin at worst. The sculpt is just a bad likeness now when looking at this new one, expression or not. Great thoughts though

Really want this, but I think I will stick with her original hot toys CW Anakin.
But yeah, the facial expression really limits him to replicate any scene from the training recordings, as well as his poster for the Ahsoka show.
Yeah I get the expression they chose, I just feel they should offer a secondary stern one for people who want a more museum or even action display because it works for both. Sticking with OG for now, thanks for watching!

Idk what you're talking about Riley, this is the iteration of Anakin that has balanced his light and dark side energy. He's supposed to look happy and content. He's a force ghost at this point.

It’s literally how he looks lmao how people can say he looks bad is nuts. Why? Because the expression isn’t angry for once? It’s his face. I like it. If it was a female figure with an attractive face no one would bat an eye. I think some people are just jealous that they don’t look like him lmao L take in this vid. It’s him literally 20 years later, faces change with age.

I actually like this but wouldn’t mind if they update it to something similar but also the hate is good to me so hopefully it does not sell out easier 😂. You never know what happens.

I think this is the best Anakin sculpt ever. This is God Anakin projecting himself in the WBW. I'm loving it, but i totally get why people don't like it

Not a fan of it, the head sculpt looks great on its own, very close to how he looked in the show but the expression cannot be used for any poses that are not a museum pose. Plus he also looks a bit too old (as he did in the show as well). They should have deaged and modified a bit imp (like taking away the dad bod from thrawns HT figure 😂). I feel like it’s on par with the previous one both have their advantages I guess

I definitely see Hayden but I think it’s the eye brows and forehead that are throwing it off. He looks like he’s worried.
Also I get they want to be screen accurate but I think they could do a bit more deaging for the figure so that he doesn’t look older than the ROTS figure coming out. If Hot Toys was able to update the Kenobi Sculpt I’m sure they can do this one as well!
I think so, make them look younger it would help for sure. They have to nail the inevitable dark side anakin. Excited to see it!
