Personally I opted for three monthly di-peptyl injections for two years to further my treatment. The injections are used to reduce the hormonal function of certain Cancer sufferers originally ie. regarding the Prostate gland. These injections stop all hormones from respective cis gender patients and the desired gender hormone is then prescribed so there is no hormonal battle raging in said patients thus relieving dysphoria. That's the theory. It certainly worked okay with me. Years of never ending hanging around for physical and psychological change was achieved in just a few months. Saying all that, I am not a pre-pubescent minor but as far as medical safety goes for such treatments I believe it's safe, that is from my own experience. They were concerned about bias, so they excluded experts (yet included people with known anti-trans politics). What other medical review has ever excluded experts? Would you trust a review of a heart medication that excluded all cardiologists from producing the review?
That's not true. The Cass Review had input from 102 professionals, including GPs, paediatricians, psychiatrists and psychologists, including a Gender Specialist. Over half of these professionals rated themselves as on the more gender-affirmative side of spectrum. The fact the other contingent defined themselves as more cautious on gender-affirmation isn't a conspiracy, but their considered medical opinion. Personally, I'd want a consultant to exercise some skepticism before artificially arresting a tween's natural puberty for purely psychological reasons. God forbid you say that to a member of the Novarati tho', they'll want to take your kids away.

Stopping a 6yo from having precocious puberty until an age appropriate for their growth, and stopping a 11 yo from having a normal puberty at the appropriate age so that they can have it when they are almost adults, is not the same and doesn't have the same effects on the body or mind.
As for cancer, it's a ridiculous argument considering most of the therapies available are "let's destroy your cells and hope the cancer gets destroyed as well". There isn't a single medication that you could sell me by saying "they use it for cancer too".

In private Labour are continuing to back arms sales to Israel and are not placing any material financial or legal pressure on Israel to alter their policy. Their signalling on 'Ceasefire' talking point is fuelled by their justifiable anxiety about their mirage majority with lots of pro-gaza marginals now factoring into public relations conversations.
