BTW I saw someone peeling off the back sticker and it seemed quite easy to do and the console looked WAY better without it. You can even see the processor through the shell if you do that
I think I’ll do that instead of adding a different sticker now that you mention it. The R35S has that sticker spot left empty. It looks so much better without it there.

I just got this! I cant believe this has actual Arcade Roms such Pac-Man..Ms Pac-Man...NARC..ESwat...Punch Out! Even has old school Mike Tysons Punch out and Super Punch Out! This is the best thing ever!

I ordered it last week, also a RG35XX+. But I think I will keep the R36S and sell the RG35XX+. The orange looks so good and the OS is so much better than the Stock OS from the plus.
@attila2946 Ya, I’m having mixed feelings about the 35XX Plus. Mainly because these $50 handhelds perform better, but if you’re looking for Wi-Fi I think it’s kind of a pain to do with a dongle on the R36S and there’s no HDMI out.
For those that want to turn their little handheld into a pseudo console with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth I think the 35XX Plus is pretty cool for PS1 and below. I just hope we get custom firmware.
Do you just sell on eBay, or other places as well like the r/gamesale subreddit? I’ll probably do some selling in the future as well.

I love the orange one. I was recently sent a set of custom white buttons/thumbsticks from the manufacturer who made the special clear blue/white R36S that is only being sold by gamecove.ph.
I'm planning to install these white buttons and sticks in the orange r36s and make another Creamsicle device.
I'll be doing a giveaway soon for at least 2 r36s, maybe 4 (including an orange one.) Stay tuned 😉

I read somewhere that in most European languages the fruit "orange" came before the color "orange". Until the fruit came to Europe, everyone treated orange as a shade of red or as "Red Yellow", sort of like how that one greenish yellow crayon is called "Green Yellow".
It's a good thing they invented orange because this color is en fuego!
I think this orange is fire too. I’m torn between the blue one and this one for my all time fav. The manufacturer just sent me a full set of white buttons and sticks and I’m debating which one to install them in. Should I make an all white R36S or orange and white? What do you think?
@@OGTechNick - You seemed to have really enjoyed the orange and white Dreamsicle-ness of the RG28XX. I imagine that you'd be happy using those buttons to make this unit a Dreamsicle too.
That said; I actually really like the orange and black of this unit. It's a classic color scheme that doesn't need to be fixed, unless you want to. On the other hand; white with black buttons kind of looks unfinished. Does any name brand ship a white handheld or controller with black buttons? Black sticks, yes, but the buttons themselves are usually color matching. If you plan on keeping the white model then that'd be the one I'd recommend upgrading. Can you access the black bezel without hurting the screen? If so, painting that white as well would really complete the look.
I need a cheap Pico 8 device (to run native Pico 8) - I think this may be it.

@joshuabuenaflor6252 are you in the US? I have some adhesive dome switches designed to be used in JoyCon (I planned on installing in my X18S)
Maybe I can send you a set if you haven’t already ordered yours. They would fit in a standard envelope and I think they would be the right size for the RP2S+
You might still need to add a silicone membrane like the thin one for a joycon inbetween the buttons and dome switches for it to feel proper but it’s all a theory because I haven’t tested it yet.
Thanks but they're on their way from AliExpress (no where but) I think they should be here in about a week. I bought some for the new 3ds and the switch and the old 3ds. Hopefully one of them works. If not, GBC membrane it is. Just like tinkering. Helps keep me from just buying more handhelds haha

The newest update to Doom 3 in Portmaster plays great on it, solid 30 fps. I've got a bunch of Metroidvanias on mine, like Chasm, Axiom verge, Iconoclasts, & Timespinner since it's my fav genre other than RE/Survival Horror. Was gonna add red joycon analog sticks to my orange R36S but decided to go with blue instead & name it the Goku lol

Even though I kinda referred to it as my least favorite of the 4, you can’t go wrong with black/translucent gray. I think it’s the one I’d feel most comfortable pulling out in public. I’m still a fan 👍

@kenjiurban I don’t think it is actually. I think Data Frog just puts their names on certain popular products. For a while it seemed like they had their brand name on proprietary products but lately I’ve seen their name on other things like this and the SF2000. Kinda confusing.

Thank you me too. I wanted a cheap vertical on Linux OS and a more expensive horizontal on android OS looks like RP4 pro going to be my horizontal. Unless they come out with a top joystick layout with the RP4 pro performance.
after getting my R36S black, I realized that the White solid color is the only way to go for an OCD like me. The light bleed near screen and power light is not attractive, especially in dim light, or night time use. I just like lught from the screen, not distracting lights in unwanted areas.
I can understand that. The ribbon cable below the screen bothers me a little. Lol, minor OCD here

They all have the same ArkOS firmware but it can be updated via the OTG port
