This is a strange place to be at 2 am in the morning. Didn't think I needed an epaulette tutorial, but I am not complaining. I really like your easy to listen voice and simple instructions. Thank you!
I said to myself last night. Mardi Gras season for us down in NOLA.
I love how they turned out. Your tutorials are comprehensive and easy to follow. Thank you.

Awesome project. Now I have some ideas of how I'd like to make my own epaulets. Thanks.
Thank you so much I’ve been watching Hamilton non stop and really want to make a soldiers outfit so this has really helped thank you sooo much
Same! I need it for a Charles lee costume
The Random Sprout yes I’ve been making Lafayette’s outfit
Love these! How did you attach them to the jacket?
Love this! Going to be great for play costumes in our play.
This is pretty cool. I'm working on a historically inspired winter jacket, and I've been having trouble with the epaulets. The main issue is that they have an ornamental stone pyramid on each of them, which are pretty heavy
That was magnificent also next time show us how you attached it on the shoulder
Thanks!!! It will be perfect for my Lucifer Magne Cosplay...
So fun to see those come together!
This helped with me doing a DIY for my son's greatest showman ringmaster top
I have that same rule. No glue for fabric! Sewing machine only! But you've made this so neat and tidy, that I am going to pick up some batting and dust off my glue gun tonight. Thank you!
Thank you for the tutorial. I made them and they turned out great!
That's wonderful!! Well done!
Superbamente!!!
Thank You, this helps me a lot, as I need to make two different colors & can’t find them on-line 🙏🌸

Aha, thanks! I'm working on Percy King from Epithet Erased, and I think I might be one of the first do make her costume XD

@@Samookely Eyyyyy!!
Amazing thank you for sharing
Beautiful!
Thank you 😊
So simple but very effective
Great video! How then would it be attached to fabric?
I used some strong thread and a thick needle to get through the painted fabric. And then I sewed it onto the jacket. But I just thought about it, and gluing some velcro would work great for a no-sew option!
What type of paint do you recommend for the fabric? I'm making epaulets for my brother's prom outfit!
Hi, I found this tutorial amazing, thank you for sharing♥️, and did you use velcro to attach your epaulettes on shoulder?
Wonderful to hear! No, I hand-sewed them on (with a thick needle that I could wiggle through the painted fabric.) But Velcro would definitely be an option!
@@BellaMaesDesigns ah, i see >,<
Once again, thank you ♥️

How do you attach the epaulets to the coat?
Hi Bella Mae, I love your video on How to make epaulettes.
One question though, what are the dimensions of the pattern on card stock?
Love the music
Great video! How did you place it on the garment?
Would bukram work well here? I am a professional upholsterer and soft furnisher so am experienced in its use. Some are impregnated with glue which bonds to fabric when heat is applied through ironing.
Love your work. Very high quality.
I think stiff buckram would do pretty good here, I'm using Eva foam rather than cardboard because I don't want it to get mouldy if it goes in the wash. :D
How do you add them on
What size is that circle, by the way?
That's awesome! How might you attach them to the clothing?

@@BellaMaesDesigns thank you so much!! I really want to have a go now!!
Hi, do you have a template available?
Sorry for my late reply! I have a template, but can't attach it to this reply. Can you write me at bellamaesdesigns@gmail.com ? I'll then send you the template!
What rank are those epaulettes?
Haha, I have no idea! I just replicated the ones that Clara has on her outfit in the Nutcracker movie!
Looks to me like you got the padding on the wrong side.
Damn, I was hoping to find a epaulettes like ambulance types. If you could make a ambulance uniform epaulettes? That would be awesome.
So pretty 😍 but that auto focus hurt my eyes 😖
