Exactly…when it’s Accra people don’t want to obey cultural laws and all…I’m a Ga girl in koforidua too and just last week the burial of Daasebre Nana Oti Boateng and the Queen mother took place and we were supposed to wear black…shops weren’t operating and Nii look the market was like a cemetery….Nii we all say “when you go to Rome, do what the Romans do” but people don’t do that especially for the Ga community. It’s not that people don’t understand…I feel people disobey these laws deliberately…cos this particular law and others concerning our festivals have been there before we were born….in Akan lands people take these laws with fear….but most of the time we don’t do same in the Ga land…I don’t know if it’s the same for our Brethren from other clans…it’s so wrong.

we have to extend the noise making from one month to three months sef. the kind of peace we enjoy during the ban on noise making was awesome

I am an elderly Ganyo. The only problem that I have with all Gam3i is that they are all with no exception IGNORANT. They are ignorant of too many things both spiritual and physical. GaDangbe people don't know what is going on in Ghana that is why they feel that it is not necessary to come together and be united as a people like Ewes, Akyems, Ashantis, Dagombas and others. GaDangbe people have NOTHING to protect including themselves individually. The other tribes living among us, having observed that, don't find it necessary to respect anything that we do. For the average GaDangbe NDC and NPP are more than GaDangbe and even themselves. GaDangbe people and their culture are not important to them. Note that there were many GaDangbe people in that Pentecost Church who did not take sides with the GaDangbe people on the ban on noise making. The AGENDA of the other tribes in Ghana spearheaded by the Ashantis and Akyems is to overrun GaDangbe particularly Accra. They just can't come to terms with Accra as the capital city of Ghana. What ignorant Gam3i don't know is that Accra is the capital city of Ghana because of SPIRITUAL reasons and nothing else.

Frankly I disagree with him..because for all those years passed our culture and tradition has been made known to all.. How that at a point of time in the year we perform the functions of our tradition.. Ignorance is not an excuse..the popular saying "Ablekumann Eba Kuma wo" does not mean "Ablekumann Eba ye wo noh" meaning doesn't mean Ablekumann should come and preside over us.. This therefore need respect. Our culture may not have the Gold and other minerals but does not mean we re to be misinterpreted we the Gas are unique in many ways and must be grand due grace to that. Im a proud Ga Nii Kotey Amli Nikoi🔱♎

What’s that nonsense this man is talking about. Does KMA always educate people about Akwasidie. Don’t people obey it as soon Asantehene imposed it.
