- Old sawmill maintenance. Changed the cable which drives the sled. Switched the two legs so that the longer leg doesn't block the movement of the larger log when the logdog gets stuck behind that. Cleaned all the sawmill from the sawdust.

👍👌👏 I'm glad that you have been able to take some good use out of the old sawmill. So all the work that you put in the rescue, has been quite a good investment. I'm also glad to see you doing some good maintenance, repair and modification work. I hope that some day there will be a roof over the good old machine. I'm eagerly looking forward to watch the next video.

Your Laimet restauration was success, you have milled a lot of logs and nothing major problems hasn´n come up. Those cable change etc. are small things. You have very good machinery there, Scania 143 is best Scania of all times, not yet much electronics, very good driveability, and of course V8 sound is best. That wheel loader is interesting, is it Parca or what? 👍👍

You did a fine job andf that's what the old sawyer and brother the take off man and runner of the edger did all day, just waiting for us to get in from school and THEN it was sawmilling till dark and then some, just like fighting fire. WIDE open. I hope the Scania has a V-8 in it. Sure sounded like it and I think their V-8's, the Cat 3408's andf the Mack E-9's are the best motors EVER! One thing I wish you would think about is making or welding caps on the leveling leg tops. If water gets in and freezes, it might swell and bust the leg itself. I watched a video of a mill like yours and yours does a FINE job! Maybe rig up a little better and tighter dust catcher on the blower would help too but I have shoveled a lot of dust myself and there are a lot worse things to do. Be BLESSED, my Friend! Thanks Lewie! Yea, the Scania has V8 in it. Legs are closed from the top put some legs are just short enough to hide into the leg holders. Dust collector is open from the bottom to ket the big junks drop out from there. But maybe I will close it or make it so that it's possible to open the side and then clean it.
@@AFHProjects GOOD on the V-8 and don't know if a screen in the blower intake would help about unloading the chunks and not get stopped up. That is a nice mill and you did a super job getting it back to working again. You get the A-PLUS from me! Blessings too!
