Thanks for the tip. When I put it back together squeezed to hard and little buttons on back fell out of place! After a while I got them in the little black frame and was able to close the case. Next time I might put a piece of Scotch tape over the buttons to prevent them to get out of position.

I got the low battery notif yesterday at friday afternoon and I was thinking of calling the honda company but they were already closed and their close too on weekends. Do you think the key will still make it on monday? I'm worried that it might just stop working while I'm still using it outside. We have a honda brv 2018 model or '19 I think.

Great video! Had my CRV at the dealer and when they returned the fob to me the silver arch that you remove to put in new battery doesn't stay attached to the fob anymore., Didn't notice it until I got home. I've played around with the little notch but could not find any position that locks it in position. Any ideas?

@@Myksgarage No, the arch fits perfectly over the fob but doesn't lock into position.

Maybe it was an old battery you used? Try another one.
Whyyyyy????! I don’t get it. I’ve never had to worry one iota about my non smart keys fobs doing this. Never. We are being suckered y’all.
