Okay so two things...
1. You need to have done the Spirit Temple / Quest to access this chasm, otherwise it will be closed.
2. I was under the assumption that this glitch was newly discovered, but this glitch has apparently been in the game for a while now.
Thank you to ZombiehKeny for the reminder about the spirit temple / quest and also thank you to a few who pointed out this duplication glitch is not new lmao
To me, this appears to be some kind of loading buffer invisible wall between the overworld and the depths that likely exists within all chasms. However none are horizontal like the spirit temple one, so its easiest to do there.
That being said, im curious if it will EVER get fixed. Cause if that is indeed what the arrows are hitting and why they duplicate, I cant imagine an EASY way of removing it and keeping its functionality. They may genuinely be powerless to stop this one if my assumption is correct.
That being said I still havent connected to the internet since I first tried it. I dont wanna risk that not before ive maxed my batteries(have all 8 but i guess you can double up?) and have a considerable number of many many materials.

If Nintendo makes the dragons not have a 10 minute cooldown to get a single item I'll stop duplicating items
Just break the Master Sword as soon an you see a Dragon and Ping-Pong to other dragons until the 10 minutes pass. I get it's very tedious (A Dragon Scale/Horn Merchant would do wonders), but there are workarounds
When you don't want to actively play you can afk on the dragon's scale and wait 10 minutes, then hit a horn and repeat. Still slow af but if someone really wanted to avoid duping they could use that for money farming
I know right? Fuck waiting 2 hours just to get 12 materials to fully upgrade an outfit set for ONE of the FOUR that need them, 8 hours is too much

something else: some thicker items kinda pop into dust after you shoot, so you have to use a 5-shot bow to actually profit from them (if you do it inefficiently) something I noticed but haven't actually seen anyone else mention is that if you shoot the items low enough, you can actually get all 5 to stay undusted. sometimes you have to shoot so low that you can't see them anymore.
They break because they collide with the other arrows so a 3x shot bow won’t break any because it has better spread

@@flamewing7851 just walk further back to the hole so that the arrows of the X5 bow can spread out more. I got it to work with large zonaite and none of them broke
I also very highly recommend you get the travel medallion, makes it so much easier to get to the spot from reparing your bow

@@user-ir8er1bh4q Make sure you visit the first Major Mine in the Depths ("quest" given by josha pretty much the first time you go to lookout landing). Once you have, talk to Robbie in lookout landing and he will basically have you "test something" to get his hot air balloon working again. Then he will use the hot air balloon to go to the Hateno Lab (if he doesnt leave make sure to keep talking to him)
once you meet him in hateno lab he will talk about adding features to the purah pad

I actually turned off automatic updates because this glitch is actually even more broken than the last one. Allows you to duplicate to infinite rather than only to 40 at most

@ahhhh how did you do that? The way the glitch worked was by transferring items between slots, and it had nothing to transfer from so it just gave it to you.

you can also fly up the hole at the end of the chasm from the depths if you don’t want to wait for the spirit temple, I used a hot air balloon
Wow smart. Marker on the map and then down the depths and fly hot airballoon. Can you fly that high?
@@kevinvanschie yeah if you have the battery might need to consume a few cores but no biggie you could always dupe more
Attach wood bundles inside the balloon so when the battery runs out you won't fall and you can wait to recharge if necessary.
You don't need to do the spirit temple. All you have to do is go to dragon head island and do the quest

1: You have to watch out so one of the shots collide with already floating items because that would be a waste of durability on your bow
2: use a savage Lynel bow because that has the most durability out of all of them
3: have 2 things of wood and a stake to catch anything that falls
I set a travel medallion at the coordinates I needed height wise to keep the setup perfect
You can even stand a little further forward, which I prefer just because then I can shoot the items a little further over the edge so that I don't worry about losing them if they roll down towards the depths.
I just put a stake and two fused boards down to catch everything that I don't catch and I put one of my travel medallions there as well.
You can even dupe bomb flowers, but you can't stack them. You need to shoot only twice and those two shots need to be beside each other. If you shoot more than 2 times, the bombs will explode when they drop into each other. but with a 5x bow, you can still get 8 bombs every time.
TOTK players scrolling through CZcams without encountering content about dupe glitch everyday (impossible)

When intering the depths, the game stops processing entities on the surface. Then, when coming back to the surface, entities are processed again but loose their momentum.

You can still access the chasm from below if it is closed. I did it. You'll need a balloon with a lot of battery or attach wood to the balloon to burn to provide additional lift.

There's a couple yt videos that show you how to get in there without any quests. You just need a ballon and Mayne 3-5 bats worth of charge

Put two wood bundles inside the balloon to burn along with the flame emitter and you'll get up with 1-2 bats.

kill a Lynel for the triple bow and you can use a stone octorock to upgrade it to 5x

It wouldn't surprise me if Nintendo goes out of their way to do something crazy to stop people from doing this glitch. Even if you have automatic updates turned off, I feel like Nintendo will somehow find a way to make sure that this is fixed. xD
I think Ninendo should stop patching those glitches. They hurt no one, and if people want to make it easier for them, let them. It is not that it is a multi player online game. I loved the dupe glitch in 1.1.1., the new one is not bad, but the old one was way more easy.
@@althelas I mean, it's not like it takes that long to get gemstones whether it be through mining or fighting stone taluses or gathering lynel parts by simply fighting lynels. I get they may not be the easiest monsters to defeat for some people, but it feels more satisfying to be rewarded with these items instead of taking the easy way out for most things. Really, the only reason I see myself using a duplication glitch would be in preparation to fight a Gleeok (I haven't fought one yet cause I'm honestly terrified despite knowing what I have to do). xD

I avoided vidoes about duplication glitches like the plague since I wanted no incentive to use them, for playing the game as it was intended. Now that I finished, I get to see how some of these are done--and gotta admit, it's insane how all their game testers didn't find any of these. Glad they're fixing it though.

I have one unless it’s been patched. Go to tarry town stand at the wall and hold 10 devices and then press y ,+ you should be able to increase it by 10 each time in 4 seconds

@@robertwesley7332 you can press plus on any game, and up at the top it will show a little number as well of the name of who made the game, that little number will be what version you have. That or it will prompt you to update your game if you are not currently at the latest version

I never updated, still on the version when it was first released on (2 hours before the game release, because I preordered) so I use the paraglide dupe a lot still.

Y'all are gonna get it patched again if y'all don't stop posting it on CZcams- I get that it's a good way to spread the word but sadly it does players more harm than help with how strict with Everything Nintendo is being. Like permabans on players for mods such as a multiplayer mod or ECT. on Breath of The Wild. A game that is 6 years old. So Nintendo is gonna be quick to patch a Non online game that isn't gonna cause any players some trouble! That last part was directed at you Nintendo.
It's a good thing if it's patched though, as it was never meant to be an intended feature for being an overlooked bug.

Probably one of the `earliest` one can acquire a 3 shot bow, without going into any high level combat stuff, would be the Great Eagle Bow from a certain Chieftain after you complete the Rito Village quest. Though it does require 3 diamonds and a swallow bow to make, which is not as much of a prob on the diamonds once you get the trick rolling.
You are kinda limited to about 3 Swallow bows around said region you can find with one that only respawns on blood moons (The nearby Range that has not only the bow you can loot freely but a hunk of arrows also), but since you dont have to go thru any lynels or the Korok Forest for a Forest dweller bow, its definitely the `easiest` point when one can start this shenigan. Though your limited to one at a time since you can`t make another till the first one breaks.
Also helps since this trick requires shooting loads of arrows, you have a perfect spot to mass stockpile arrows via trading 2 particular types of fish or chill`shrooms, which sadly only the latter could be duplicated. But at a few fish/shrooms giving 10 arrows a pop, plus 5 arrows left on a table in another spot, and a shop for a handful of arrows, its a easy spot to stockpile without other methods like the Yiga Clan having the `least expensive arrows` in thar own hideout.
Sadly i have yet to get the timing down on weapon dupes, so having an easy source before i get a setup to try my hands at the lynel colosseum using that one supposed trick to hunt down 5 shot bows is rather nice.
Also to note, DONT USE TWO SHOT BOWS for this, just because its a Yiga bow(Duplex) that also has them sold in thar hideout, they have a different shot spread then 3 and 5 shot and because the 2nd arrow hits the first, it can cause the first one to `disappear` from being hit.
