So cool to see how you put symbolism into a realistic painting. Very cool! I also want to try the green underpainting! I can see how that would give a pleasant complimentary harmony to the skin tones.
@@DannySabraArt Because the light and things around the object are not green indoors. You can try but I think it wont look nice as if you use a grisaille or the like
@@relaxationpeacefulmusic6296 Isn't the underpainting acting as a complimentary color scheme to the reds in the skin tones (underneath the transparent reds?) rather than opaquely reflecting light? I believe he did the same technique in one of his other recent videos and it wasn't an outdoor setting.
Always the perfect mix of reality, imagination, and beauty. Your passion is contagious my man! I'm so glad I've got to witness your art come to life. 1 of a kind!
Such a wonderful work😊 Can anyone tell me what kind of background wall is it? How did he use the pins to hold the canvas on the wall? It will help me a lot. Thanks
You are a genius artist and an insightful philosopher. Thanks for sharing, I’m in an absolute awe each time when I watch your process leading to yet a more amazing masterpiece. Was nice meeting you in Miami. 🙌🙌🙌
Almost of artists they will never tell you thr truth about painting...and think them self like a genius or something like that!! They are scared to shaw it .... because it was very easy to learn and everyone can be a painter 🙄
He covers that in an interview in his Streamline Art video on portraits. If I may paraphrase, he is honest (and correct) that if you can't draw, your fine art will be limited. I personally believe that if a technique helps, use it, but don't let it become another problem. Projectors are not highly regarded for many reasons. Practice sketching what you have available in your home, your yard, a park, etc. You'll learn faster. And don't beat yourself up. Most of us spent semesters in anatomy classes, and had to help pay for live models. Even for prodigies like Santos, art is an ongoing process. Good luck to you.
Are terrible TO YOU (and this it's ok). Art it's not about please any specific person outside the artist itself, and always will resonate to someone. I bet that hurt your soul it's not a big concern.
@@prazerjoao I respect his sense of discipline, and he clearly has a deep love for the craft. Unfortunately, it looks like our dear Cesar got seduced a bit too much by the realism of his pieces. The way I see it, once a piece is done, it's not up to the artist to decide who will like or dislike his art. Whether it resonates with someone or not is also irrelevant since there are many awful artworks, for example, enjoyed by many people (or many great artworks enjoyed by awful people). We should not forget the importance of delving into the essence of a subject rather than being distracted by its surface qualities.
César eres el mejor saludos

Dont forget that he used the green undertone because it's a outdoor scenery full of greens around. It wouldnt work much indoors
@@relaxationpeacefulmusic6296 why wouldn’t it work indoors?

Beautiful work, what yellow did you use with black to make the underpainting?
what do you think, about the use of projector, for help to drawing ?

Cesar Santos....please start your column in Discord....it will help many...🙏🙏
Sir teach how to mix colours for skin please
El reflejo del perrito en el agua me inquieta un poco, no sé, como que da miedito. Aunque la pintura está muy bonita.
What is the background music ?
You never showed how to mix colors or skin tone 😜 ...
Es un trabajo bonito pero se ve mas como un trabajo de ilustrador.
No tiene el sabor de una pintura sino de una ilustracion.
Ceasar bruh, your technique is impeccable, but your themes are terrible. Hurts my soul, that you make such kitsch.
