I had these for about a year now and really like them sound wise (also responds well to eq) so it was actually quite interesting to get your our opinion on them. I agree with you in terms of the build quality as they feel like you'd have an easy time breaking them if you're not careful. I use these both for monitoring and extensive music listening and again have to agree with your assessment of the sound signature and general quality. One little thing I think you didn't mention tho is the (in my opinion) great noise isolation which really helps the whole monitoring premise and is also just nice for public transport. Verry well made video all around Subbed
Oh man, can't wait for your review of IE900. By far my favorite channel for IEMs. So laid back, and as a fellow creator I appreciate all the hardwork in all the b-roll and lighting setup. Another great video!
Thanks man. Seriously I understand your pain. the hours just to script and try to light your self really isn't easy, especially if you are trying to be consistant in terms out video out put. Cheers. Can't wait for your next one too!
I just stumbled across your channel looking up information on the Sony MDR-EX1000. Decided it wasn't for me based on your review, but I have to say you've got a really great presentation style and your passion shows through. I know it's hard growing a channel, but I'd like to thank you for saving me about 400 dollars. :) Hope you and yours are staying safe and healthy, and I'm looking forward to future videos.
Thank you! The EX1000 is a semi-open style earphone and might suit quieter environments better. If you are on the go most of the time, perhaps selecting a earphone that isolates better would be better.
Really good review. I see your channel is very new but the content is already really good. A couple of notes: the music in the background was a bit distracting and made it harder to focus on your voice, I'd either lower its volume or leave it only for the transitions (which are great BTW). Also, I understand the need for notes but you should try to read them as little as possible. Eye contact with the camera is crucial. Aside from these two little things great stuff. Keep it up ;)
Nice video! Btw, I have both IE40 (forty) pro and Final A4000. This is an unpopular opinion - I like my IE40 pro more than my Final A4000. Thinking of getting IE400 pro as the upgrade to my IE40 pro.
Thank you! I can understand why. The recent IE Series are slightly warmer than neutral and that might be your preferred style. You can try the IE300 though. As I think that those are a little more exciting to listen to.
Hello friend 👋 Thank you for the review I was about to get the IE 400 today but I saw more than 4 reviews here on CZcams saying that their IE400 died after 1, 2, and 3 months of use. Have you faced any problems with theses so far. Again thank you 🌹
@@SuperChonk well, my main use will be Mixing and EQing music in my home studio. So I need something more flat, natural, with no artificials. Any recommendations?? My budget is around 350 $ max. 😅 Thank you for your fast reply 🙏🙏

Thank you very much. It means a lot to me. You are right, isolation is great on this pair.
Hope to see you more often in the comments in the future :)

@@SuperChonk Thank you!! Watching your older videos right now to learn how to do this better hahaha

Thank you sir! I will take note on this :)
Interested in trying these and the IE 300, but totally agree about the use of plastics at this price point. Even a $59 Fiio FD1 has metal nozzles.
Nice video!

Do you think it is worthy to change my ie40 pro for the ie 100 pro? Or should i go for ie 200
Are these good for casual listening? Not a fan of the chi fi so want a known brand. I listen to RnB, Soul, Motown, rap.

Hello!
No issues with it at the moment but if you like it can I suggest you take a look at the final E4000.
You might like them :)

What equipment do you use as a source/amplification for these?
Good question.
I use the following.
Lotoo PAW Gold Touch
Lotoo PAW S1
Chord Mojo
Cayin N8 :)
Hi can I ask Sony xba n3bp better or ie 400pro the sound quality?
XBA N3bp. It's an overall more enjoyable earphone with great coherent performance.
Overall build quality is also better.
i love sennheiser but the only sennheiser audio stuff i own is mx985, which is an earbud 😅
Sennheiser makes awesome stuff! I had the old CX300 and had a lot of fun with them when I was a lot younger haha
@@SuperChonk Oh wow, I had these too, amazing things. Thinking of getting the IE 400 Pro’s!
