I think because the Icons really want a good, drawn-out, game of skate. I think even Chris Cole talked about this on the Nine Club. He said that most young ppl just try to get the other person out rather than have a "gentleman's" game of skate. They warm up and then try some hard stuff.

I haven't skated in 10 years but I just moved from florida to colorado near the mountains and I just picked up a new cruiser board because there's hills everywhere. Feels fuckin great to just be riding again even if my wheels never leave the ground. Never got to cruise hills much in florida so I feel like a kid again.

I haven't been skating for years and i am shocked to find out my favorite skaters are now icons. Time flies by man. Happy to see that they still enjoy skateboarding as much as they did years ago. Now i want to grab my board again and do some flatground tricks too.

wow, I have never seen Torey this great in a game of skate. After I watched the Dath Blow video yesterday I saw he will be motivated. He is one of my favourite skaters but I really thought Malto would win but Torey was really focussed this time !
He did good as well against Mike Mo back in the day. They were starting to run out of trick ideas and Torey defended himself against Mo literally by any means, some of his lands were the sketchiest but insane he rolled away lile he did.
