I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

@@Elliot-Ivan The crazy part is that those advisors are probably outperforming the market and raising good returns but some are charging fees over fees that drain your portfolio. Is this the case with yours too?
I've been holding cash since 2020 pandemic crash, just went 'all in' and bought $350k worth of ETFs & individual stocks in order to earn dividends for the rest of my life if possible, tho I'm not sure of the market despite reaching its all time high this year.
Yes, get your money out the bank. Invest in assets that pay recurring income. Get a financial advisor to guide you and choose wisely
Well agreed, I was on the sideline observing for awhile, figuring out the best strategy to get in, until I came by a seasoned advisor. Reluctant at first, but went ahead and dumped $300k, long story short, it's 3years and counting, and I've accrued almost $1m simply following the guidance of my portfolio advisor. I took a vacation to Bahamas this summer as a self-reward.

Qqcl is one of my favourites, and I sold off my ENS and bought ENCL .. ENCL is more diversified than ENS and the dividend yield is much better, a no brainer … great video ,thanks .

ENCL is a great paying stock and it keeps going up too. Also HYLD just increased their distributions. But our main stocks are American. Yieldmax and Defiance.
Wow. I am blown away by this presentation. I was an insecure 59 year old on SS in January 2018 when I started buying Bitcoin/crypto. Everyone though I was irrational. Most still do. I put my income in every month and watched the value drop each month but for some reason really believed in Bitcoin and alt coins/blockchain even though I don't totally understand. Finally, the crypto market started turning around and I am astonished at the value of my crypto currency portfolio today. I engaged in active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3B'tc to a decent 27B'tc....At the heart of this evolution is Linda Wilburn, whose deep understanding of both cryptocurrency and traditional trading has been instrumental. Picked up a large position in EIT at the beginning of this year which has worked out well. Funnelling cash into HDIV still as well building core positions. This is the last year I hold my rental property in B.C. And will be looking to all in on income investing. Definitely full of it. They are essentially trickling their principle and getting dividends from it. Unsustainable long term unless they have outside income to keep the charade going. Any huge market downturn and they are destroyed. Everyone a genius in a bull market.
Do you feel this is sustainable? I feel like with 328K CAD you are at a disadvantage since CAD is 30% weaker than base currency USD and with inflation and down markets, it could squeeze you in the future.
If this were my only investments then yes. But this is a tiny portion of our overall portfolios

The dividends you receive from your maxed out TFSA are you able to reinvest them into those same stocks or will it put you over your TFSA limit? Is your limit determined by your deposits or deposits and dividens?
I can reinvest without penalty
Your TFSS limit is affected by your deposits only. Any dividends received within your TFSA does not affect your limits.
Tesla high yielding ETFs never rebound. If you are a Elon fan boy buy the stock not these EFTs you will get wrecked. Or buy a inverse ETF to counter balance it.
This isn't a yieldmax product that your probably referring too.
Awesome educational content, where do I acquire a similar portfolio to yours, I have Webull, Robinhood, , Wealthfront apps on my mobile for savings and truly had no idea, God willing I will soon come into an inheritance of a substantial sum and pray to be able to live abroad and be able to buy some time off of a 130-150 k deposit, where do I acquire these symbols/tickers and do I need a broker( Charles Schwab, or can I simply deposit funds to receive the monthly/ quarterly dividend on my own and what would you advise ? self-educate as much as possible. Listen and watch investment portfolios online and understand the strategies. From there begin investing into what you understand
