I've been having my Samsung A50 for a year now, and this problem started yestarday as a little purple circle. I didn't know what it is, or why I got it. And then after waking up the next morning it got 2x bigger than how it started yestarday.

Replace new screen
Simply bring to any repair shop nearby and they will replace screen. Everything back to normal.
Whilst my phone was charging this just randomly happened but instead of it gradually turning purple, the liquid just scattered everywhere but from then on it gradually got worst to the part where my screen is just pitch black.
it sounds like you need a lcd replacement or a full amoled screen replacement, it's around 100 bucks

Oppo a74 is AMOLED screen. Replace your screen and everything is fine.
i got my samsung j6 like this. it started with a small green at the right side of my phone. the next day, it's getting bigger and bigger until it ruin the display and contrast tht hurts my eyes. then here comes the dark one. it also started with a small black at the edge of my phone until it fully covered my screen. now it's all ruined. i want to bring it to the shop but i don't know how much it'll take to repair.
The screen prices its depend on your location. for J6 series have have 2 type of screen. OLED screen and LCD TFT type. so make sure use OLED type for your replacement and ask your shop for this type of screen. Prices variety start from 25$.

Vivo V17 also used OLED display. once the purple dot appear means the liquid inside the screen known as semiconducting liquid start to expand. so no more reflecting happening and screen goes to dark black. you need to replace new screen.

Once start to shows the purple color its no way to fix. Only replace the screen. The touch is glue to screen and its 1 set. Need to replace touch and screen together. No need any code. Just visit your local repair shop and ask them for new screen. Can be original or copy. Ask them for details. Good luck.

Yes , sadly will expand and spread from purple to black . depend on the situtation and usage of your phone will get bigger.
@@FeryIls the purple bruise started from the bottom right on 2nd September and as of now 18th September the purple is at the top of my phone and the bottom part is like greyish in color. I can still use my phone but there's serious burn in and I don't know how long this display will last.
@@FeryIls I still haven't told my father because on 20th August I had my charger port replaced for faulty circuits and I think the person used too much of the heat gun (disassembled the back of my phone thrice with using heat gun for he was testing if the USB port replacement is working)

yes, Sadly your screen damaged.. as i show in video the touch and screen is separate so the touch works fine but the OLED screen get damaged. you need to replace the whole screen and everything goes fine.

Hi, The only solution is to replace your screen. if goes purple and black means the screen need to replace to new screen.

You can change the screen from OLED where is they get purple to Normal LCD Copy one. For Samsung A70 the LCD is available.. but its not sharp color same OLED..

Can this issue be found in Iphone 11 pro max too? Mine one fell and a blueish dot appeared right under the notch screen but it's not expanding or you can say it's too slow!!

Yes, iphone 11 pro is OLED screen. Any OLED screen will damage in same way. Get blue or purple then expand. Nothing can do beside once they expand replace your screen.

yes. any phones / Tablets comes with OLED type screen, if contact with liquid or drop hard they can be going purple and then to black.

@@FeryIls This is weird, it appears the purple screen have taken over the phone then the black one, but then i realize that i can still see and still playable(but i have to stay on a dark place so i can still see), but the screen is very reactive so it often leaves a mark that last for minutes. I will get a new phone some time but i want to test on how long will this last, it's been a month now.
And turning on the phone's brightness to high really makes the phone very bright that even the dark one's turn very bright that i can barely see.

Yes definitely will expand. Depending on the damage ratio the time is different. Sometimes fast sometimes slow. But for sure you need new screen replacement. Good luck.

@@davedarius7346 yes, right now the all budget phones almost 60% of the phone value is their screen due the plastic body and recycling aluminum. So replace AMOLED screen original one is expensive. Alternatively gou can try Aftermarket screen but if you love how the original screen is bright or smooth specially for gaming, using aftermarket screen or copy one not recommended.

@@DevMakharia25 Yup.. I have replaced it recently in a nearby service centre. They had charged 1600 Rs for a normal Lcd screen. Had I wished to replace the screen with only amoled display then I would have to pay around 3600. So I thought it to be wiser to go for the Lcd display only which is working fine.

unlikely this problem appears as water or drop damaged where they not cover warranty..
but you can try, sometimes its problem from bad screen from factory where they cover warranty..

Yes sadly this issue is common on OLED screens and only way is to replace screen. and care it well to not contact any liquid and prevent it from dropping too.
