I have only experienced him performing with Tool and then at his Sessanta. Both times, he was pretty direct about requesting people to NOT do that. Haha, humans are going to human... smh. Haha
I loved Maynard live with TOOL last year and with Puscifer/APC this year. Idk but it seems like he's been working on his vocals again because he sounds freaking amazing! Long last his great voice.
3:09 As long as Maynard can do this I think he's totally kicking ass at his age. See how many guys in their 60s can scream like that. Spoiler: Basically zero
Also, Maynard gives the OK to film the last song or two depending on the show. Real Tool/APC/Puscifer fans are usually very respectful to his requests.
Makes sense, I can see many are upset in the comments for some reason. I’m sore Keenan would’ve said something about the phones but he didn’t skip a beat. I could see if it were only A Perfect Circle concert but it wasn’t so I’m guessing that’s why he didn’t say anything.
I definitely don’t wanna throw it away like this, but I wanna throw it away like they’re doing on stage there… I believe there’s five people in the band… And I’m very envious of that type of a career… I’m trying to do whatever I can to achieve entertain that opportunity… I have legal binding contract obligations with any other type of business or anything at this point in time..
At 3:17 Maynard looks at his wrist watch. Wonder if he's looking at the time or his heart rate. He's getting old now, 60! Kind of strange to look at the time in the middle of a song, between songs would make sense but during one..? Seems more like checking heart rate to see if he can be more aggressive with his vocals and movement or has to tone it down a bit?
I noticed it a few times, and I didn’t even think of that. I was assuming he was checking the time so they didn’t go over their set time. They gave a lot of bands like 30 minutes.
@@Ma4t2t0_oh mate, watching this I can definitely see how Maynard gets annoyed with it. If you want to film put the phone/camera on a mount and press record at least that way you’ll see the show instead concentrating on the screen while at the show
Sad that Maynard can’t hold notes like he could pre-Covid. He’s still great but anyone who has seen him early in his career can hear the decline in his performance abilities. 4:10
i saw tool twice in the last 2 years and he hit every important note there was to hit and they sounded the best they ever sounded ...and u say covid , like covid is why he cant hit notes like he used to... how bout he doesnt hit notes like he used to like every vocalist that that ever existed. covid isnt a factor what so ever. its years and years of performing to the greatest ability...eventually there is a slight decline....covid my ass
@@antpheta9716 Maynard openly stated in an interview that Covid messed up his vocal range, so tell Maynard that. And apparently you don’t recognize nuance in music because he’s not close to the same , I’ve seen him with every band numerous times, he’s a great talent but age, wear and tear has taken a toll.
@@answer420I agree .and that was my point . the wear n tear gets us all.... Zero musicians that have been touring extensively for 20.. 30..+ years at that skill level ... @@antpheta9716 that’s why I’m my first comment I said he’s still great and it’s sad, I get what he’s done and been thru, it’s just a shame those songs can’t be sang the way they were written to be, he used to have so much lungs, scale, tone and ability to hold notes. I’m sure he hates it more than anyone. I’m not being critical of him, just acknowledging his struggles.
I always get slack for saying this, but APC is better than TOOL. I know I know … just my opinion 😂 Mer De Noms is one of the best albums ever made lol.
It is so disapointing to see how many people are "watching" the concert through their phone screens 🤦♂
Maynard probably is too
And nobody really singing?! What?
I can personally say, as a live performing musician, you really feed off the crowds energy, holding phones up is a buzzkill!
I have only experienced him performing with Tool and then at his Sessanta. Both times, he was pretty direct about requesting people to NOT do that. Haha, humans are going to human... smh. Haha

I love Maynard at 60. He gets better with age!
THE coolest looking band ever. And they sound even better.
Sounded amazing even if they didn’t have their actual instruments
This was the best concert of the entire day/night. They sounded Amazing, Professional. I Love everything Maynard James Keenan does. Creatively.
Yes they were very good considering they didn’t have their own equipment and instruments. Great show

Such a great time.

Drumming for Foo Fighters now!!
He recorded the best and my favorite Static-X album- "Shadow Zone", he is really impressive
Yeah, so happy to see him with APC again
I would have to say that you are right!
People's ability to never film the musician actually doing sth badass at the moment never ceases to impress me
😂😂😂
😭😭
What do you mean? I thought I filmed ok haha. Not the best but decent.
@Monark_420 you literally missed one of the best fills in modern rock
@@joesikorski4080 I didn’t miss anything. Yall did. I was actually there enjoying the show. Friends took turns recording
3:17 time to dance, love you Maynard
dude jokingly checked his pulse 😂😂 You can tell he puts in the work to preserve his voice, and he sounds golden.
I’m glad I saw APC live once. I do regret missing their original reunion tour where they did albums straight through 2-3 nights in a row
Maynard sounds fucking good. Josh is nails as usual. I don’t think ever has made a mistake.
Maynard is a fucking machine seen them in Atlanta April 9th incredible show probably the best I have ever seen

Thanks for posting this!! For everyone criticizing people recording, why are you even watching this video?

I first heard this song on a vanilla rogue pvp video and it's slapped ever since.
And it always will. Thanks for watching 🙌🏽
Their best song by far.
Soooooo BADASSSSSSSS!!
It was a great show!!
3:38 Billy going across the stage 😂
Little peek a boo for the camera haha
Dont die Maynard.
Seriously!!!
Aging like a fine bottle of bourbon. Let's go.
I think Maynard prefers wine🤣
The Bikini Bandits 😂 that music video was funny
He could stand to grow the fuck up, he's about to be more rivaling Madonna than Taylor. JS.
Savage!!! Hey guys nerd alert on stage. 🤘
I wonder if it's possible he's constricting his vocals in that damn suit. Younger he was practically shirtless
Damn, Josh Freese poppin' up playing with everyone!
Collecting those checks
Collecting those checks haha
Always has
Popping up? He's got quite a long list of credits for a lot of years! ;) Sure was sweet to get to see him play with A Perfect Circle though....damn!
He’s their original drummer

Old or new footage? Josh Freese back on the drums?
It is new footage from April 27th 2024 in Vegas.
1982, pretty old - really holds up for the time though, right?!
