This review was really helpful thank you so much! And answered all the questions that I had! Definitely going to purchase this
Thank you. Your video was more informative than the instruction manual that came with the camera. I got my camera as a gift from work. Can't wait to use it.
I can’t wait to get my camera! I’m ordering one this week and I’ll be receiving it next week. thanks for the video very helpful.
Thanks for sharing this awesome review on the #KodakPrintomatic 😁📸 We love the feedback!
Thank you for your video! It was very useful right before the actual purchase.
Okay this is really neat! I recently bought a Kodak wpz2 and became curious about their products and what they have and saw this and it would be fun to have a play with, definitely gonna buy it when I get the chance, pocket size to top it all off for an easy carry on like a cell phone
Superb video will all possible explanation! Thanks man!
I have experimented with a couple of pics that came out badly (ceiling shots mostly!) and I'm finding that if a drop of water gets on the pic, even though I am there with a kleenex in my hand and tenderly blot it, the finish on the pic is ruined.. dissolved apparently. I do not rub it, I blot lightly immediately. This was a sad discovery as I'm seeing it being described as waterproof everywhere. Sure the ink does not run off the pic like an old computer printer might have done, but it is not waterproof if the finish is ruined by one drop of instantly blotted up water. So, I'm curious how yours is ok, and one on the kodak video commercial that showed a child spilling kool-aid on it, and they just shake it off and indicate it is not harmed - mine were. I had several test and they all left odd dissolved places where the drop hit. Please comment on this.
I wish you would talk about more of the picture quality and how it compares with others , to better understand the quality of the camera
There are only few cameras that shoot and print instantly with this technology and they all use the Zink paper. So the pictures will all look the same. The Kodak Printomatic also has a SD card slot and you can take pictures and store them on the card. Those SD card images look very good. While the printed pictures from the camera look very good if you want them to look best photographic quality you can print the pictures off the SD card. Think of this camera like old polaroid instant cameras. They worked very well for an instant camera and thats what this camera does but it gives you the option to print higher quality if needed.
Very good explanation.
Hi, nice review, what about the kodak smile instant print camera.
so if you run out of film and it goes onto the sd card, there's no way to get the camera to access those, right?
.....oh by the way then there is the SD slot ...... BIG FEATURE !!!
When I use a instant camera once I done taking my pictures I put them in a scanner
does it have flash?
Whats the micro SD card slot for?
Great review. Now does the USB allow file transfer to and from the SD card and a computer?
yes the USB allow file transfer to and from the SD card to the computer
What does it mean when it is blinking red and white
where did you get it from that it came with the zink papers?
thansk
wait da fuq The camera came with the Zink paper. Here it is. www.amazon.com/Kodak-Sticky-Backed-Photo-Paper-Sheets/dp/B075WWY75T/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1532059948&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=zink+photo+paper&psc=1
Will it stop you from taking more photos if the SD memory card is full? Or can you take an infinite amount of photos, as long as you have enough film?
you mentioned that it uses heat to print, would you say that heat may distort the photo afterwards?
how much?
Can I still take pictures with it, even if doesn't have the paper? i mean, can it save the pictures in sd instead, then print later?
can i load the sheets and choose which photos to print or will it print automatically?
I'm charging mine now. It's been for about 30min & it's still red. Will it change or how do i know it's ready?
Hi, it takes about 2 hours to fully charge. The red light will stop flashing when it’s charged up.
Thank you so much me and my mom was faceing the photo paper the wrong way
Can i use diff brands of zink paper?
I tried the Polaroid zink paper and it works fine. Any 2x3 zink paper should work.
Zink is a portmanteau-'zero and ink.
there’s a film stuck inside mine :( someone help ?
If you remove the back cover you should be able to remove. Just pull very slowly as not to damage the mechanism.
This work only in good sunny day... mine doesent even turn flash on indoor... all photo looks like crap. Better buy polaroid. Anyway tip if you already bought it. Zink paper for xiaomi printer use the same paper and it is cheep becouse lag of kodak logo.
cost of each pic?
@@carsandcamera that's the exact reason why I'm going with a zink based instant camera if I decide to get one, here in NZ zink paper costs less for a 50 pack than a 20 pack of Fuji instax
I bought this camera and like two pictures came out clear do not buy this camera I bought it in 2021 it looks different than this it's the same camera but the design is different and it doesn't even print that fast and it keeps beeping I'm buying a different one
the zink colors don't last many years , I h van posted to all my diaries that after 5-7 years will fade
For the price, I will stick with my instax mini 9
the price of the kodak is cheaper than the instax - the kodak is 59euro, but 50 photo papers go for 30e (which are also cheaper than the instax papers' btw)
2x3 inch is too small
Thank you so much for this. I am useless with any kind of new technology. Your video was really clear and so informative. Much better than reading any kind of instruction manual. This video really helped me to make a decision about buying it. I think in the future I will go on CZcams as opposed to reading reviews as visual reviews work better for me. Have a lovely day!
